Say(O Muslims),"We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrahim(Abraham), Isma'il(Ishmael), Ishaque(Isaac), Ya'qub(Jacob), and to Al-Asbat[the twelve sons of Ya'qub(Jacob)], and that which has been given to Musa(Moses) and'Iesa(Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted in Islam.

Among people there are some who say:“We believe in Allah.” But when such a person is made to endure suffering in Allah's cause, he reckons the persecution he suffers at the hands of people as though it is a chastisement from Allah. But if victory comes from your Lord, the same person will say“We were with you.” Does Allah not know whatever is in the hearts of the people of the world?
人びとの中には，「わたしたちは，アッラーを信仰します。」と言うが，一度アッラー（の道のため）に苦難に会うと，人間の迫害をまるでアッラーの懲罰であるかのように考える者がある。またもしあなたの主からの助け（と勝利）が（声？）されると，かれらは必ず，「本当にわたしたちは，あなたがたと一緒でした。」などと言う。万人の胸の中に抱くことを最もよく知る御方は，アッラーではないか。

Then there are among men such as say,"We believe in Allah"; but when they suffer affliction in(the cause of) Allah, they treat men's oppression as if it were the Wrath of Allah! And if help comes(to thee) from thy Lord, they are sure to say,"We have(always) been with you!" Does not Allah know best all that is in the hearts of all creation?
人びとの中には，「わたしたちは，アッラーを信仰します。」と言うが，一度アッラー（の道のため）に苦難に会うと，人間の迫害をまるでアッラーの懲罰であるかのように考える者がある。またもしあなたの主からの助け（と勝利）が（声？）されると，かれらは必ず，「本当にわたしたちは，あなたがたと一緒でした。」などと言う。万人の胸の中に抱くことを最もよく知る御方は，アッラーではないか。

So when they saw Our punishment, they said: We believe in Allah Alone”.
それからかれらは，われの懲罰を見る時になって，「わたしたちは，唯一なるアッラーを信じる。

They say,‘We believe in Allah and in the Messenger and we obey.'.
かれら（偽信者）は，「わたしたちはアッラーと使徒を信じ，服従する。

And of mankind are some who say: We believe in Allah and the Last Day, when they believe not.

And they say: We believe in Allah and the messenger, and we obey; then after that a faction of them turn away.

And when they saw Our punishment, they said," We believe in Allah alone and disbelieve in that which we used to associate with Him.

Then, when they saw Our doom, they said: We believe in Allah only and reject(all) that we used to associate with Him.

Then, when they sighted Our punishment, they said,‘We believe in Allah alone, and disavow what we used to take as His partners.
