By a note dated 27 January 2004, the Secretary-General drew the attention of all States to General Assembly resolution 49/60 of 9 December 1994 and the Declaration annexed thereto and requested them to submit information on the implementation of the Declaration under its paragraph 10(a) and(b) by 31 May 2004.

By a note dated 17 January 2012 addressed to the Security Council(S/2012/38), the Secretary-General referred to Judge Al-Khasawneh ' s letter of resignation and drew the attention of the Security Council to Article 14 of the Statute of the Court regarding fixing the date of the election to fill the resulting vacancy in the Court.

In accordance with the provisions of article 12, paragraph 3, of the 1988 Convention, the Secretary-General transmitted to all Governments, by a note dated 27 April 2007, the text of the notification, together with all the information submitted by the Board in support of that notification and a questionnaire on phenylacetic acid.

ووفقا لأحكام الفقرة 3 من المادة 12 من اتفاقية عام 1988، أحال الأمين العام في مذكرة مؤرخة 27 نيسان/أبريل 2007 إلى جميع الحكومات نص الإشعار مع جميع المعلومات المقدّمة من الهيئة تأييدا لهذا الإشعار، واستبيانا عن حمض فينيل الخل

By a note dated 31 December 1996, the Secretary-General drew the attention of States to the request contained in paragraph 9 of General Assembly resolution 42/154 and paragraph 10 of General Assembly resolution 51/156, and invited them to communicate to him their views with respect to any measures needed to enhance the protection, security and safety of diplomatic and consular missions and representatives, as provided for in paragraph 11 of General Assembly resolution 42/154.

وفي مذكرة مؤرخة ٣١ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٦، لفت اﻷمين العام انتباه الدول إلى الطلب الوارد في الفقرة ٩ من قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٢/١٥٤ وإلى الفقرة ١٠ من قرار الجمعية العامة ٥١/١٥٦، ودعاها إلى موافاته بآرائها فيما يتعلق بالتدابير الﻻزمة لتعزيز حماية وأمن وسﻻمة البعثات الدبلوماسية والقنصلية والممثلين الدبلوماسيين والقنصليين، حسبما جاء في الفقرة ١١ من قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٢/١٥٤

Pursuant to that request, by a note dated 15 December 1993, the Secretary-General invited the Governments of Member States to submit the replies referred to in paragraph 20 of resolution 48/44 B. The Secretary-General had already issued communications on this matter under the provisions of General Assembly resolutions 46/73 B of 11 December 1991 and 47/73 B of 14 December 1992, as well as notes dated 29 May 1992 and 19 February 1993.

وعمﻻ بذلك الطلب دعا اﻷمين العام، بمذكرة مؤرخة ١٥ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٣، حكومات الدول اﻷعضاء الى تقديم الردود المشار إليها في الفقرة ٢٠ من القرار ٤٨/٤٤ باء. وكان اﻷمين العام قد سبق له أن بعث رسائل بشأن هذه المسألة بموجب أحكام قراري الجمعية العامة ٤٦/٧٣ باء المؤرخ ١١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩١ و ٤٧/٧٣ باء المؤرخ ١٤ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٢، كما بعث مذكرات في ٢٩ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٢ وفي ١٩ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٣

By a note dated 27 December 1995, the Secretary-General drew the attention of States to the request contained in paragraph 9 of General Assembly resolution 42/154 of 7 December 1987 and paragraph 10 of General Assembly resolution 49/49, and invited them to communicate to him their views with respect to any measures needed to enhance the protection, security and safety of diplomatic and consular missions and representatives, as provided for in paragraph 11 of General Assembly resolution 42/154.
