Training workshops were implemented in support of the subprogramme for the provision of technical assistance in: operationalizing a pro-poor housing policy; conducting a midterm review of the implementation of the Programme of Action for the Least Developed Countries for the Decade 2001-2010; Millennium Development Goals 7, target 11(regional); policy advocacy for the use of information and communications technology for development(South-South cooperation); and sharing of experiences in community-based poverty reduction strategies among the least developed countries.
