تاکہ وہ جان لے کہ انہوں نے اپنے رب کے پیغامات پہنچا دیے، اور وہ اُن کے پورے ماحول کا احاطہ کیے ہوئے ہے اور ایک ایک چیز کو اس نے گن رکھا ہے"(28

So now put off your ornaments from you, that I may know what to do with you.'".

اب کھڑکی کے پاس جاؤ زور سے چلاؤ مجھے معلوم ہو کہ تم میں کتنی قوت باقی ہے۔

And that those who dispute concerning Our signs may know they have no asylum.

اور تاکہ جو لوگ ہماری نشانیوں میں جھگڑتے ہیں وه معلوم کرلیں کہ ان کے لیے کوئی چھٹکارا نہیں

Also, he said“? that you may know the way by which you shall go, for you have not passed this way before.”.

اس نے پھر سے پوچھا،''تم سندھی ہو اس کے بعد بھی انہیں نہیں پہچانتے، شاید سندھ میں تم کبھی نہیں رہے ہو!‘

اللہ فرماتا ہے(مفہوم):"ہم نے تمہیں قوموں اور قبیلوں میں بانٹ دیا تاکہ تم پہچانے جاؤ"(اگر غلط ہوں تو میری اصلاح کیجیے)۔

صاحبانِ علم کو معلوم ہوجائے کہ یہ وحی پروردگار کی طرف سے برحق ہے

God will test you with something of the game your hands and spears obtain, that God may know who fears Him at heart. Whoever commits aggression after that will have a painful punishment.

یہ ساری بات اس لئے ہے کہ بادشاہ کو یہ معلوم ہوجائے کہ میں نے اس کی عدم موجودگی میں کوئی خیانت نہیں کی ہے

اس نے سمجھ بخشی ہے۔ اب ہم خدا کو جان سکتے ہیں۔ خدا ایک وہی ہے جو سچا ہے۔

یوسف نے کہا یہ میں نے اس لیے کیا کہ عزیز کو معلوم ہوجائے کہ میں نے پیٹھ پیچھے اس کی خیانت نہ کی

اور یہ دن بدلتے لاتے ہیں ہم لوگوں میں اور اس واسطے کہ معلوم کرے اﷲ جن کو ایمان ہے، اور کرے بعضے تم میں شہید

You may know the outward form of the words and their meaning, but you have not grasped the inner meaning, the full understanding of it in a way that“powerfully influences” you(ibid.).

اور ایسا ہی ہماری تلاوت میں ہے۔ آپ الفاظ کی ظاہری شکل کو اور اُن کے معنوں کو شاید جانتے ہوں، لیکن آپ نے اِن کے اندرونی معنوں کو گرفت میں نہیں لیا ہے، اِن کی مکمل سمجھ اس طرح سے ہے کہ وہ آپ کو''انتہائی مضبوط‘‘ طریقے سے متاثر کریں(ibid.
