(یہ) وہ لوگ ہیں جو دنیوی زندگی کو آخرت کے مقابلہ میں زیادہ پسند کرتے ہیں اور(لوگوں کو) اﷲ کی راہ سے روکتے ہیں اور اس(دینِ حق)

Nor can goodness and Evil be equal. Repel(Evil) with what is better: Then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it were thy friend and intimate!
اور نیکی اور بدی برابر نہیں ہو سکتے، اور برائی کو بہتر(طریقے) سے دور کیا کرو سو نتیجتاً وہ شخص کہ تمہارے اور جس کے درمیان دشمنی تھی گویا وہ گرم جوش دوست ہو جائے گا،!

evil are not equal. Repel(evil) with that which is good, and you will see that he,
بدی یکساں نہیں ہیں تم بدی کو اُس نیکی سے دفع کرو جو بہترین ہو تم دیکھو گے

تم برائی کا جواب بہترین طریقہ سے دو

Good and evil[conduct] are not equal. Repel[evil] with what is best.[If you do so,] he between whom and you was enmity, will then be as though he were a sympathetic friend.
اور نیکی اور بدی برابر نہیں ہو سکتے، اور برائی کو بہتر(طریقے) سے دور کیا کرو سو نتیجتاً وہ شخص کہ تمہارے اور جس کے درمیان دشمنی تھی گویا وہ گرم جوش دوست ہو جائے گا

secretly or openly, who repel evil with good: For them is the recompense of Paradise.
برائی کو بھی بھلائی سے ٹالتے ہیں، ان ہی کے لئے عاقبت کا گھر ہے

نیکی اور برائی برابر نہیں ہوسکتی لہٰذا تم برائی کا جواب بہترین طریقہ سے دو

اور نیکی اور بدی برابر نہیں ہو سکتے، اور برائی کو بہتر(طریقے) سے دور کیا کرو سو نتیجتاً وہ شخص کہ تمہارے اور جس کے درمیان دشمنی تھی گویا وہ گرم جوش دوست ہو جائے گا

اور نیکی اور بدی برابر نہ ہوجائیں گی، اے سننے والے برائی کو بھلائی سے ٹال جبھی وہ کہ تجھ میں اور اس میں دشمنی تھی ایسا ہوجائے گا جیسا کہ گہرا دوست

(اگر اللہ تجھے کسی مصیبت میں ڈالے تو خود اس کے سوا کوئی نہیں جو اس مصیبت کو ٹال دے، اور اگر وہ تیرے حق میں کسی بھلائی کا ارادہ کرے تو اس کے فضل کو پھیرنے والا بھی کوئی نہیں ہے۔
