Turn in repentance to Him. Have fear of Him. Be steadfast in your prayer. Do not be like the pagans.
(قائم ہو جاؤ اِس بات پر) اللہ کی طرف رجوع کرتے ہوئے، اور ڈرو اُس سے، اور نماز قائم کرو، اور نہ ہو جاؤ اُن مشرکین میں سےIndeed those who said,“Allah is our Lord”, and then remained steadfast- upon them is neither any fear
بیشک جن لوگوں نے اللہ کو اپنا رب کہا اور اسی پر جمے رہے ان کے لئے نہ کوئی خوف ہے(Allah) said:‘The prayer of you both has indeed been granted. So remain steadfast, both of you, and follow not the path of those who do not possess knowledge.'.
ارشاد ہوا: بیشک تم دونوں کی دعا قبول کرلی گئی، سو تم دونوں ثابت قدم رہنا اور ایسے لوگوں کے راستہ کی پیروی نہ کرنا جو علم نہیں رکھتےoabounding in steadfast love to all who call upon him”(Psalm 86:5).
اپنے سب دُعا کرنے والوں پر شفقت میں غنی ہے زبُور 86: 5It means if they had remained steadfast on the right path, and strayed to the path of misguidance We would have made them drink a lot of water.
اور(اے رسولؐ تم کہہ دو) کہ اگر یہ لوگ سیدھی راہ پر قائم رہتے تو ہم ضرور ان کو بکثرت پانی سے سیراب کرتےsaid,“Allah is our Lord”, and then remained steadfast- upon them is neither any fear
ہمارا رب اللہ ہے پھر اس پر جمے رہے تو ان پر نہ تو کوئی خوف ہوگاAnd if there are among you one hundred steadfast, they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved, because they are a people who do not understand.
And had We not kept you steadfast, possibly you might have inclined to them just a little.
اور اگر ہماری توفیق خاص نے آپ کو ثابت قدم نہ رکھا ہوتا تو آپ(بشری طور پر) کچھ نہ کچھ ان کی طرف مائل ضرور ہوجاتےHe will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
وہ بری خبر سے نہ ڈرے گا۔ خداوند پر توکل کرنے سے اس کا دل قائم ہےAnd if there are among you one hundred[who are] steadfast, they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they[the disbelievers] are a people who do not understand.
اور اگر تم ایک سو ہونگے تو ایک ہزار کافروں پر غالب رہیں گے(۱) اس واسطے کہ وہ بےسمجھ لوگ ہیںLord is Allah,' and then remain steadfast, they will have no fear,
ہمارا رب اللہ ہے پھر اس پر جمے رہے تو ان پر نہ تو کوئی خوف ہوگاHad they(jinn and mankind) remained steadfast in their religion(Islam), We would certainly have given them abundant water to drink.
اور یہ کہ اگر یہ لوگ راہِ راست پر ثابت قدم رہتے تو ہم انہیں خوب سیراب کرتےHis Messenger, and those who believe and are steadfast in devotion, who pay the zakat and bow in homage(before God).
وہ اہل ایمان ہیں جو نماز قائم کرتے ہیں، زکوٰۃ دیتے ہیں اور اللہ کے آگے جھکنے والے ہیںsuch conduct with patience, indeed that is best for the steadfast.
(The Lord) said,'The prayer of you both has been accepted, so remain you two steadfast and follow not the way of those who do not know.'.
فرمایا، تم دونوں کی دعا قبول کی گئی۔ اب تم دونوں جمے رہو اور ان لوگوں کی راہ کی پیروی نہ کرو جو علم نہیں رکھتے۔(89And if there are among you one hundred[who are] steadfast, they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they are a people who do not understand.
اور اگر تم ایک سو ہونگے تو ایک ہزار کافروں پر غالب رہیں گے(۱) اس واسطے کہ وہ بےسمجھ لوگ ہیںThose who said:'Allah is our Lord', and then stood steadfast by it.".
جن لوگوں نے کہا کہ اللہ ہمارا رب ہے اور پھر وہ اس پر ثابت قدم رہے۔‘‘(فصلتOnly God, His Messenger, and the true believers who are steadfast in prayer and pay alms,
تمہارا دوست تو الله اور اس کا رسول اور ایمان دار لوگ ہیں جو نماز قائم کرتے ہیںYou who believe, seek help through steadfastness and prayer, God is with the steadfast.
اے ایمان والو، A small party has triumphed over a large party by Allah's Command, and Allah is with the steadfast.
