At its 2nd plenary meeting, on 17 September 2004, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the General Committee, decided to include in the agenda of its fifty-ninth session the item entitled" Follow-up to and implementation of the outcome of the International Conference on Financing for Development" and to allocate it to the Second Committee.
At its 2nd plenary meeting, on 21 September 2012, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the General Committee, decided to include in the agenda of its sixty-seventh session the item entitled" Follow-up to and implementation of the outcome of the 2002 International Conference on Financing for Development and the 2008 Review Conference" and to allocate it to the Second Committee.
