The representative of the Secretariat recalled that in paragraph 4(a) of decision X/14 the Meeting of the Parties requested parties to report annually by 30 September on their use of controlled substances as process agents, levels of emissions and containment technologies used and in paragraph 4 of decision XXI/3 requested the Secretariat to bring cases of non-reporting to the attention of the Implementation Committee for its consideration.
Since the present report has been prepared prior to 30 September 2011, the date by which parties are required to report information on process agents uses for 2010 according to decision XXI/3, the remaining parties that have not reported for 2010 will be reviewed in an addendum to the present report, which will include a list of any parties that appear to be in non-compliance with their obligation to report information on process agents uses for 2010.
