The reference group for the public sector will work to promote future accessibility of public websites, electronic forms and IT-based tools, etc., and the reference group for accessibility in the private sector will focus on improving accessibility to e-trade solutions, Internet banking facilities and electronic news media, among other objectives.
UNODC has also contributed to the production of operational guidelines for monitoring and evaluation of HIV prevention for people who inject drugs, and continued to support the Reference Group to the United Nations on HIV and Injecting Drug Use, through which the first ever global, regional and country estimates on coverage of HIV services among people who inject drugs were produced in 2010.8.
The reference group of this assessment procedure is the sub- group of those persons questioned in the income and consumption sample(Einkommens- und Verbrauchsstichprobe- EVS) who are just above the social assistance threshold(as it applies at the time of the review); the statistical average of their expenses(in certain areas that are relevant to the standard rate) is used as an orientation value for the determination of the needs.
At the same time, the IASC Working Group recognized that full implementation of the project would require further refinement and review of a number of issues, such as the sensitivity of data, the total budget amount, the database objectives and the agreed list of indicators, and accordingly encouraged the NRC to promote inter-agency consultations to address these issues, specifically through the Reference Group.
