और उनके नीचे भी(आग ही के) बिछौने ये वह अज़ाब है जिससे खुदा अपने बन्दों को डराता है

Who establish prayer and who expend of that wherewith We have provided them.
नमाज़ को पाबन्दी से अदा करते हैं और जो हम ने उन्हें दिया हैं उसमें से(राहे ख़ुदा में) ख़र्च करते हैं।

Or if We shew thee that wherewith We threaten them, verily We are going to prevail over them.
या(तुम्हारी ज़िन्दगी ही में) जिस अज़ाब का हमने उनसे वायदा किया है तुमको दिखा दें तो उन पर हर तरह क़ाबू रखते हैं।

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
मसीह ने स्वतंत्राता के लिये हमें स्वतंत्रा किया है; सो इसी में स्थिर रहो, और दासत्व के जूए में फिर से न जुतो।।

ऐ ईमान लानेवालो! जो अच्छी-सुथरी चीज़ें हमने तुम्हें प्रदान की हैं उनमें से खाओ और अल्लाह के आगे कृतज्ञता दिखलाओ, यदि तुम उसी की बन्दगी करते हो।

पर तुम कहते हो, कि यदि कोई अपने पिता या माता से कहे, कि जो कुछ तुझे मुझ से लाभ पहुंच सकता था, वह परमेश्वर को भेंट चढ़ाई जा चुकी।

But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls,
फिर विधवा वा त्यागी हुई स्त्री की मन्नत, वा किसी प्रकार की वाचा का बन्धन क्यों न हो, जिस से उस ने अपने आप को बान्धा हो,

और फिरऔन के लोग मूसा से एक मरतबा कहने लगे कि तुम हम पर जादू करने के लिए चाहे जितनी निशानियाँ लाओ मगर हम तुम पर किसी तरह ईमान नहीं लाएँगें।

Lo! we are disbelievers in that wherewith ye have been sent.
वहाँ के लोग ये ज़रूर बोल उठेंगे कि जो एहकाम देकर तुम भेजे गए हो हम उनको नहीं मानते।

सब परदेशियोंकी गिनती ली, यह उस गिनती के बाद हुई जो उसके पिता दाऊद ने ली यी;
