And they said: What! shall we believe in two mortals like ourselves while their people serve us?
چنانچہ وہ کہنے لگے کہ ہم اپنے ہی جیسے دو آدمیوں پر ایمان لائیں حالانکہ ان کی قوم ہماری خدمت گزار ہے۔?created you from dust, then lo! you are mortals(who) scatter.
What' they said,'are we to believe in two mortals like us, whose nation are our worshipers'.
تو بولے کیا ہم ایمان لے آئیں اپنے جیسے دو آدمیوں پر اور ان کی قوم ہماری بندگی کررہی ہےWhat' they said,'are we to believe in two mortals like us, whose nation are our worshipers'.

کہنے لگے کہ کیا ہم ان اپنے جیسے دو آدمیوں پر ایمان لے آئیںAnd they said,'What, shall we believe two mortals like ourselves,
چنانچہ وہ کہنے لگے کہ ہم اپنے ہی جیسے دو آدمیوں پر ایمان لائیں حالانکہ ان کی قومAnd they said,'What, shall we believe two mortals like ourselves, whose people are our servants?'.
سو انہوں نے(بھی یہی) کہا کہ کیا ہم اپنے جیسے دو بشروں پر ایمان لے آئیں حالانکہ ان کی قوم کے لوگ ہماری پرستش کرتے ہیںThey said,“Are we to believe in two mortals like us, and their people are our slaves?”.
For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible"(10:27).
یہ اِنسانوں کے لیے تو ناممکن ہے، لیکن خدا کے لیے نہیں: کیونکہ خدا سے سب کچھ ہو سکتا ہے‘‘(مرقس 10:27They said:"Shall we put faith in two mortals like ourselves when their people are slaves to us?".
پھر کہا کیا ہم اپنے جیسے دو شخصوں پر ایمان لائیں جن کی قوم ہماری غلامی کر رہی ہوAnd they said: Shall we put faith in two mortals like ourselves, and whose folk are servile unto us?

انہوں نے کہا تم کچھ اور نہیں Nor is He[God] served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all mortals life and breath and all things.
نہ کسی چیز کا محتاج ہو کر آدمیوں کے ہاتھوں سے خدمت لیتا ہے کیونکہ وہ تو خود ہی سب کو زندگی، سانس اور سب کچھ دیتا ہےI say,“You are gods, children of the Most High, all of you; nevertheless, you shall die like mortals, and fall like any ruler.”.
میں نے کہا کہ تم خدا ہو اور تم سب حضرت اعلیٰ کے فرزند ہو لیکن آدمیوں کی طرح تمہیں بھی موت کا سامنا کرنا ہو گا(۲۴They said: You are nothing but mortals like us; you wish to turn us away from what our fathers used to worship;
