(اے رسول(ص)) اگر آپ ان سے پوچھ گچھ کریں تو وہ ضرور کہیں گے کہ ہم تو صرف بحث کر رہے تھے اور تفریح طبعی کر رہے تھے۔ کیا تم اللہ، اس کے رسول اور اس کی آیات سے تمسخر کرتے ہو؟?

Say: Scoff(your fill)! Lo! Allah is disclosing what ye fear.
تم مذاق کرتے رہو، بیشک اللہ وہ(بات) ظاہر فرمانے والا ہے جس سے تم ڈر رہے ہو

The life of this world is alluring to those who reject faith, and they scoff at those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection; for Allah bestows
جن لوگوں نے کفر اختیار کیا ان کے لئے زندگانی دنیا بڑی آراستہ کر دی گئی ہے۔ اور وہ ایمان والوں کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں۔ حالانکہ جنہوں نے پرہیزگاری اختیار کی وہ قیامت کے دن ان لوگوں(کافروں)

O believers, let not any people scoff at another people who may be better than they; neither let women scoff at women who may be better than themselves. And find not fault with one another, neither revile one another by nicknames. An evil name is ungodliness after belief. And whoso repents not, those-- they are the evildoers.
اے ایمان والو! مرد دوسرے مردوں کا مذاق نہ اڑائیں ممکن ہے کہ یہ ان سے بہتر ہو اور نہ عورتیں عورتوں کا مذاق اڑائیں ممکن ہے یہ ان سے بہتر ہوں، اور آپس میں ایک دوسرے کو عیب نہ لگاؤ اور نہ کسی کو برے لقب دو۔ ایمان کے بعد فسق برا نام ہے، اور جو توبہ نہ کریں وہی ﻇالم لوگ ہیں

Fair-seeming is made the life of the world unto those who disbelieve, and they scoff at those who believe, whereas those who fear God shall be above them on the Day of Resurrection.

the faithful who give their alms freely, and those who give to the extent of their earnings and scoff at them; Allah will pay them back their scoffing, and they shall have a painful chastisement.
تھوڑا مال دیتے ہیں) یہ ان کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں اللہ ان کا مذاق اڑائے گا۔(اس کی سزا دے گا) اور ان کے لئے دردناک عذاب ہے

Believers, let not a group(of men) scoff at another group, it may well be that the latter(at whom they scoff) are better than they; nor let a group of women scoff at another group, it may well be that the latter are better than they. And do not taunt one another, nor revile one another by nicknames. It is an evil thing to gain notoriety for ungodliness after belief. Those who do not repent are indeed the wrong-doers.
اے ایمان والو! مرد دوسرے مردوں کا مذاق نہ اڑائیں ممکن ہے کہ یہ ان سے بہتر ہو اور نہ عورتیں عورتوں کا مذاق اڑائیں ممکن ہے یہ ان سے بہتر ہوں، اور آپس میں ایک دوسرے کو عیب نہ لگاؤ اور نہ کسی کو برے لقب دو۔ ایمان کے بعد فسق برا نام ہے، اور جو توبہ نہ کریں وہی ﻇالم لوگ ہیں
