Whosoever has been spared chastisement on that Day, Allah has bestowed His mercy upon him. That is the manifest triumph.
அந்தாளில் எவரொருவர் அந்த வேதனையை விட்டும் விலக்கப்படுவாரோ, நிச்சயமாக( அல்லாஹ்) அவர்மீது கிருபை புரிந்துவிட்டான். இது மிகத் தெளிவான வெற்றியாகும்"( என்று கூறுவீராக).

They shall have chastisement in this world's life, and the chastisement of the hereafter is certainly more grievous, and they shall have no protector against Allah.
அவர்களுக்கு இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையில் உம் வேதனையுண்டு, மறுமையின் வேதனை மிகக் கடுமைய் ஆனது- அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து அவர்களைக் காப்பாற்றுவோர் எவருமில்லை.

Say,‘I fear chastisement of a Great Day if I should disobey my Lord.
என் இறைவனுக்கு நான் மாறுசெய்தால் மகத்தான நாளின்sup>1 வேதனையை அஞ்சுகிறேன்'' என( முஹம்மதே!).

beating their faces and their backs:'Taste the chastisement of the burning--.
கைப்பற்றும் போது நீங்கள் பார்ப்பீர்களானால், மலக்குகள் அவர்களுடைய முகங்களில் உம், முதுகுகளில் உம் அடித்துக் கூறுவார்கள்;" எரிக்கும் நரக வேதனையைச் சுவையுங்கள்" என்று.

Wives of the Prophet, if any of you commit flagrant indecency, her chastisement shall be doubled.
நபியுடைய மனைவிகளே! உங்களில் எவரேனும் பகிரங்கமான மானக்கேடு செய்வாராயின், அவருக்கு வேதனை இரட்டிக்க ப்படும்;

if I should rebel against thy Lord, the chastisement of a dreadful day.'.
மகத்தான நாளில்( ஏற்படும்) வேதனையை நான் நிச்சயமாக பயப்படுகிறேன்" என்று கூறுவீராக.

they shall be turned back into it, and taste the chastisement of burning.
அதனுள்ளே திருப்பப்பட்டு," எரிக்கும் வேதனையைச் சவையுங்கள்"( என்று சொல்லப்படும்).

Abiding in it; their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be respited.
இ( ந்த சாபத் )தில் ஏயே அவர்கள் என்றென்ற் உம் இருப்பார்கள்;. அவர்களுடைய வேதனை இலேசாக்க ப்பட மாட்டாது. அவர்களுக்கு( வேதனை) தாமதப்படுத்தப் படவும் மாட்டாது.

By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement.
அப்படியல்ல! அவன் சொல்வதை நாம் எழுதி வருவோம்; இன்னும் நாம் அவனுடைய வேதனையை மேலும் மேலும் அதிகமாக்குவோம்.

And We shall say to the evildoers,'Taste the chastisement of the Fire, which you cried lies to!
( ஆகவே, மறுமையில் அவர்களை நோக்கி)" எரிக்கும் வேதனையை நீங்கள் சுவைத்துப் பாருங்கள்" என நாம் கூறுவோம்!

inflict painful chastisement upon us.'.
எங்களுக்கு நோவினைமிக்க வேதனையை அனுப்பு!".

மகத்தான நாளில்( ஏற்படும்) வேதனையை நான் நிச்சயமாக பயப்படுகிறேன்" என்று கூறுவீராக.

We already seized them with the chastisement, yet they abased not themselves to their Lord
திடனாக நாம் அவர்களை வேதனையைக் கொண்டு பிடித்திருக்கிறோம்;

இன்னும் அவர்கள் வேதனையைக் காண்பார்கள்; அவர்களிடையேய் இருந்த தொடர்புகள் யாவும் அறுபட்டுவிடும்.

For him there is disgrace in this world, and on the Day of Judgment We shall make him taste the chastisement of burning.
இதனால் அவன் இவ்வுலகில் இழிவிற்கு உள்ளாகின்றான் மேலும் மீண்டும் உயிர்ப்பித்தெழுப்பப்படும் நாள் அன்று எரிகின்ற வேதனையில் அவனை நாம் தண்டிப்போம்.

Is that We shall certainly tell the disbelievers what they had done, and We shall make them taste a most degrading Chastisement.
ஆகவே காஃபிர்கள் செய்தவற்றை அவர்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாக நாம் தெரிவிப்போம் மேலும் நாம் அவர்களை நிச்சயமாக, கடுமையான வேதனையைச் சவைக்கச் செய்வோம்.

he takes it for a jest; these it is that shall have abasing chastisement.
அதைப் பரிகாசமாக எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறான்;அ( த்தகைய) வர்களுக்கு இழிவு தரும் வேதனை உண்டு.

it will crash under God's chastisement.
அந்தப் பிரார்த்தனைக்குத் தக்கவாறு அவனது பாவத்தை அழிக்கின்றான்.
