These disasters do not just happen in one or two places, nor will they be over within one or two days, but instead they will extend over a greater and greater area, and the disasters will become more and more severe.
The final four plagues do not naturally follow from the first six, but are instead instigated by an unrelated weather phenomenon- the seventh plague of the hailstorm.
This plague, which will be poured on those who had rejected the gospel of the water and the Spirit given by the Lord, shows us just how great the punishment is for those who had rejected God's love and stood against Him.
This second plague is God's judgment rendered on all the people of the world who, rather than worshipping the Lord God for His creations, instead bowed to the image of the Beast, God's enemy, and shed the blood of the saints.
