أكتب إليكم مرة أخرى فيما يتعلق بأحكام الفقرة ٧ من الجزء اﻷول من قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٠/٢٤٣، المؤرخ ١٨ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٨٥، التي تنص على أنه ﻻ يجوز ﻷي جهاز فرعي للجمعية العامة أن يجتمع في مقر اﻷمم المتحدة أثناء انعقاد دورة عادية للجمعية العامة ما لم تأذن الجمعية العامة له بذلك صراحة

As members are aware, the Assembly, in section I, paragraph 7 of its resolution 40/243, decided that no subsidiary organ of the General Assembly may meet at United Nations Headquarters during a regular session of the Assembly unless explicitly authorized by the Assembly.

At its 365th meeting, on 22 August 1994, the Committee on Conferences considered a note by the Secretariat containing requests from subsidiary bodies for exceptions to be made to section I, paragraph 7, of General Assembly resolution 40/243, which stipulated that no subsidiary organ of the Assembly might meet at United Nations Headquarters during a regular session of the Assembly unless explicitly authorized by the Assembly.

In paragraph 15 of its resolution 47/202 A of 22 December 1992, the General Assembly demanded that all subsidiary organs of the Assembly comply with the provisions of section I, paragraph 7, of its resolution 40/243, in which it had decided that no subsidiary organ of the Assembly would meet at United Nations Headquarters during a regular session of the Assembly unless explicitly authorized by the Assembly.
