Noting that the Global Climate Observing System Cooperation Mechanism will address priority needs for improvements in global observing systems for climate in developing countries.
Some Parties mentioned their participation in various global observing systems, such as the global ocean observing system(GOOS) and the global climate observing system(GCOS), and others acknowledged their cooperation and collaboration with international organizations.
