The Service has also commissioned an independent study focusing on the cost and impact of refugees on host countries in developing regions of the world.

III. Impact of TNC participation on host developing countries.
The impact of FDI on host developing countries needs to be considered in the broader context of the role of extractive industries in development and poverty reduction.
