to flow gently to his order, Whithersoever he willed,-.
அது அவருடைய கட்டளைப்படி அவர் நாடிய இடங்களுக்கெல்ல் ஆம் இலகுவாக( அவரைச் சுமந்து) சென்று கொண்ட் இருந்தது.

But We kept Our promise to them and rescued them and those We willed, and destroyed the profligate.
( நம்) வாக்குறுதியை அவர்களுக்கு நாம் நிறைவேற்றினோம்; அவ்வாறு நாம் அவர்களைய் உம், நாம் நாடியவர்களைய் உம் காப்பாற்றினோம்; ஆனால் வரம்பு மீறியவர்களை நாம் அழித்தோம்.

Had God willed, He could have made them one community,
அல்லாஹ் நாடிய் இருந்தால், நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள்( யாவரையும்) அவன் ஒரே உம்மத்தாக- சமுதாயமாக ஆக்கியிருப்பான்;

Had Allah willed, He could have made them one community,
அல்லாஹ் நாடிய் இருந்தால், நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள்( யாவரையும்) அவன் ஒரே உம்மத்தாக- சமுதாயமாக ஆக்கியிருப்பான்;

the earth after its[previous] people that if We willed, We could afflict them for their sins?
அதனை வாரிசாகப் பெற்ற இவர்களைய் உம், நாம் நாடினால், இவர்களுடைய பாவங்களின் காரணத்தால்( அவ்வாறே)

Has it not, then, become clear to those who have inherited the earth in the wake of former generations that, if We so willed, We could strike them for their sins?
பூமியில்( அழிந்துபோன) முன்னிருந்தவர்களுக்குப் பின்னர் அதற்கு வாரிசான இவர்களைய் உம் நாம் நாடினால் இவர்களுடைய பாவங்களின் காரணமாக( அவ்வாறே அழித்து) தண்டிப்போம் என்ற விஷயம் இவர்களுக்கு நல்லறிவைத் தரவில்லையா?

if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you.”- Qur'an 16:9.
அதில் கோணல் வழியும் உண்டு, இன்னும் அவன் நாடினால், உங்கள் அனைவரையும், நேர் வழியில் செலுத்திவிடுவான்.

a way(of life) and if Allah hath willed He would have made you one religious community.
அல்லாஹ் நாடினால் உங்கள் அனைவரையும் ஒரே சமுதாயத்தவர் ஆக ஆக்கியிருக்கல் ஆம்; ஆனால், அவன் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்திருப்பதைக் கொண்டு உங்களைச் சோதிப்பதற்க் ஆகவ் ஏ( இவ்வாறு செய்திருக்கிறான்).

unto those who believe: Shall we feed those whom Allah, if He willed, would feed?
செலவு செய்யுங்கள்" என்று அவர்களிடம் கூறப்பட்டால்," அல்லாஹ் நாடிய் இருந்தால் எவருக்கு அவன் உணவளித்திருப்பானோ,

So those who are fortunate are in Paradise- abiding in it as long as the heavens and the earth remain, except as much as your Lord willed; this is the everlasting favour.
நற்பாக்கிய சாலிகளோ சவனபதியில் இருப்பார்கள்; உம் இறைவன் நாடினாலன்றி, வானங்கள் உம் பூமியும் நிலைத்த் இருக்கும் காலமெல்ல் ஆம் அவர்கள்அ( ச்சவனத் )தில் ஏயே நிலைபெற்று விடுவார்கள்- இது முடிவுறாத அருட் கொடையாகும்.

if Allah willed, He would seal thine heart. And Allah abolisheth falsehood
அல்லாஹ் நாடினால் அவன் உம் இருதயத்தின் மீது முத்திரையிட்டிருப்பான்; அன்றியும் அல்லாஹ் பொய்யை அழித்து,

He could have sealed thy heart(against them). And Allah will wipe out the lie
இட்டுக் கட்டிக் கூறுகிறார்" என்று சொல்கிறார்களா? அல்லாஹ் நாடினால் அவன் உம் இருதயத்தின் மீது முத்திரையிட்டிருப்பான்;

therefore worship Him. Will you not remember?
ஆகவே அவனையே வணங்குங்கள்;( நல்லுணர்ச்சி பெற இவை பற்றி) நீங்கள் சிந்திக்க வேண்டாமா?

brother's bag. Thus did We contrive for Joseph. He could not have taken his brother according to the king's law unless Allah willed. We raise by grades(of mercy) whom We will, and over every lord of knowledge there is one more knowing!
இவ்வாறாக யூஸுஃபுக்க் ஆக நாம் ஓர் உபாயம் செய்து கொடுத்தோம்; அல்லாஹ் நாடினாலன்றி, அவர் தம் சகோதரனை எடுத்துக் கொள்ள அரசரின் சட்டப்படி இயலாத் இருந்தார்- நாம் நாடியவர்களின் பதவிகளை நாம் உயர்த்துகின்றோம்; கல்வி அறிவுடைய ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் மேலான அறிந்த ஒருவன் இருக்கவே செய்கிறான்!

Thus did We devise for Joseph's sake. He could not have held his brother under the king's law unless Allah willed[otherwise]. We raise in rank whomever We please, and above every man of knowledge is One who knows best!
இவ்வாறாக யூஸுஃபுக்க் ஆக நாம் ஓர் உபாயம் செய்து கொடுத்தோம்; அல்லாஹ் நாடினாலன்றி, அவர் தம் சகோதரனை எடுத்துக் கொள்ள அரசரின் சட்டப்படி இயலாத் இருந்தார்- நாம் நாடியவர்களின் பதவிகளை நாம் உயர்த்துகின்றோம்; கல்வி அறிவுடைய ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் மேலான அறிந்த ஒருவன் இருக்கவே செய்கிறான்!

a ladder into the sky to bring a sign for them; and if Allah willed, He could have brought them all together upon guidance,
உம்மை நிராகரித்துக் கொண்டு தானிருப்பார்கள்.) அன்றியும் அல்லாஹ் நாடினால் அவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நேர் வழியில் ஒன்று சேர்த்து விடுவான்;

bag of his brother. Thus did We plan for Joseph. He could not have taken his brother within the religion of the king except that Allah willed. We raise in degrees whom We will, but over every possessor of knowledge is one[more] knowing!
இவ்வாறாக யூஸுஃபுக்க் ஆக நாம் ஓர் உபாயம் செய்து கொடுத்தோம்; அல்லாஹ் நாடினாலன்றி, அவர் தம் சகோதரனை எடுத்துக் கொள்ள அரசரின் சட்டப்படி இயலாத் இருந்தார்- நாம் நாடியவர்களின் பதவிகளை நாம் உயர்த்துகின்றோம்; கல்வி அறிவுடைய ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் மேலான அறிந்த ஒருவன் இருக்கவே செய்கிறான்!

and then willed to the Throne. He throws the veil of night over the day. Swiftly they follow one another.
அவ்விரவு பகலை வெகு விரைவாக பின் தொடர்கிறது இன்னும் சூரியனையும்; சந்திரனையும்,

Bethink you then of those ye worship beside Allah, if Allah willed some hurt for me, could they remove from me His hurt; or if He willed some mercy for me,
நீர் சொல்வீராக" அல்லாஹ் எனக்கு ஏதேனும் ஒரு கெடுதி செய்ய நாடினால் நீங்கள்( பிரார்த்தித்து) அழைக்கும் அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவை அக்கெடுதியை நீக்கிவிட முடியுமா?

Had He so willed He would have guided you all.
அவர் நாடிய் இருந்தால், உங்கள் அனைவரையும் அவர் வழி நடத்தியிருக்க இயலும்.
