On 26 November 2012 the Governing Council approved a new version of“The implementation of monetary policy in the euro area- general documentation on Eurosystem monetary policy instruments
This decision is in line with the eligibility criteria on the place of establishment for marketable assets listed in section 6.2.1 of« The implementation of monetary policy in the euro area: General Documentation on Eurosystem monetary policy instruments and procedures»( generally known as the« General Documentation").
A detailed description of the eligibility criteria that will apply to non-marketable assets will be provided in due course together with a revised version of“The implementation of monetary policy in the euro area: General documentation on Eurosystem monetary policy instruments and procedures”(referred to as the“General Documentation”).
2015/510 on the implementation of the Eurosystem monetary policy framework(General Documentation Guideline), and Guideline ECB/2015/35 on the valuation haircuts applied in the implementation of the Eurosystem monetary policy framework.
The European Central Bank( ECB) is today publishing amendments to the document entitled« The implementation of monetary policy in the euro area: General documentation on Eurosystem monetary policy instruments and procedures»( referred to as the« General Documentation") in order to clarify the criteria on which the eligibility of asset-backed securities for use in Eurosystem credit operations is assessed.
