Your Lord is All-Forgiving, full of mercy. Had He wished to take them to task for their doings, He would have hastened in sending His scourge upon them. But He has set for them a time-limit which they cannot evade.
اور آپ کا رب بڑا بخشنے والا صاحبِ رحمت ہے، اگر وہ ان کے کئے پر ان کا مؤاخذہ فرماتا تو ان پر یقیناً جلد عذاب بھیجتا، بلکہ ان کے لئے(تو) وقتِ وعدہ(مقرر) ہے(جب وہ وقت آئے گا تو) اس کے سوا ہرگز کوئی جائے پناہ نہیں پائیں گے

And those who cast it up on women in wedlock, and then bring not four witnesses, scourge them with eighty stripes, and do not accept any testimony of theirs ever; those-- they are the ungodly.
جو لوگ پاک دامن عورتوں پر زنا کی تہمت لگائیں پھر چار گواه نہ پیش کرسکیں تو انہیں اسی کوڑے لگاؤ اور کبھی بھی ان کی گواہی قبول نہ کرو۔ یہ فاسق لوگ ہیں

Then those of them who did wrong changed the word that had been told them for anot her, whereupon We sent upon them a scourge from the heaven for they were wont to transgress.
سو ان میں سے ظالموں نے دوسرا لفظ اس کے سوا بدل دیا جو ان سے کہا گیا تھا پھر ہم نے ان پر آسمان سے عذاب بھیجا اس لیے کہ وہ ظلم کرتے تھے

And those who cast it up on women in wedlock, and then bring not four witnesses, scourge them with eighty stripes,
اور جو لوگ پاک دامن عورتوں پر تہمت لگائیں، پھر چار گواہ لے کر نہ آئیں، ان کو اسی کوڑے مارو اور ان کی شہادت کبھی قبول نہ کرو،

And those who accuse clean wowomen and then bring not four eyewitnesses, Scourge them with eighty stripes and accept not their- testimony for Ever. And these! they are the transgressors.
اور جو لوگ پاک دامن عورتوں پر تہمت لگائیں، پھر چار گواہ لے کر نہ آئیں، ان کو اسی کوڑے مارو اور ان کی شہادت کبھی قبول نہ کرو، اور وہ خود ہی فاسق ہیں

پھر ان میں سے ظالموں نے اس بات کو جو ان سے کہی گئی تھی، دوسری بات سے بدل ڈالا، سو ہم نے ان پر آسمان سے عذاب بھیجا اس وجہ سے کہ وہ ظلم کرتے تھے

پھر چار گواہ پیش نہ کریں تو انہیں اسّی(۰۸) کوڑے لگاؤ اور کبھی ان کی کوئی گواہی قبول نہ کرو

Whomsoever Allah desires to guide, He expands his chest to Islam(submission). Whomsoever He desires to lead astray, He makes his chest narrow, tight, as though he were climbing to heaven. As such Allah lays the scourge on the unbelievers.
اور جسے اللہ راہ دکھانا چاہے اس کا سینہ اسلام کے لیے کھول دیتا ہے اور جسے گمراہ کرنا چاہے اس کا سینہ تنگ خوب رکا ہوا کر دیتا ہے گویا کسی کی زبردستی سے آسمان پر چڑھ رہا ہے، اللہ یونہی عذاب ڈالتا ہے ایمان نہ لانے والوں کو

اور جو لوگ پاک دامن عورتوں پر تہمت لگائیں، پھر چار گواہ لے کر نہ آئیں، ان کو اسی کوڑے مارو اور ان کی شہادت کبھی قبول نہ کرو، اور وہ خود ہی فاسق ہیں

Hour suddenly comes upon them or the scourge of the woeful Day descends upon them.
ان پر ایسے دن کا عذاب آئے جس کا پھل ان کے لیے کچھ اچھا نہ ہو

And those who accuse honourable women but bring not four witnesses, scourge them(with) eighty stripes and never(afterward) accept their testimony-
اور جو لوگ پاکدامن عورتوں پر زنا کی تہمت لگائیں اور پھر چار گواہ پیش نہ کریں تو انہیں اسّی(۰۸) کوڑے لگاؤ اور کبھی ان کی کوئی گواہی قبول نہ کرو

یہ وه لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے پروردگار پر جھوٹ باندھا، خبردار ہو کہ اللہ کی لعنت ہے ﻇالموں پر

Then the wrong-doers among them substituted another word in place of the one told them. So We sent upon them a scourge from the heaven as a punishment for their Wrong-doing.
سو بدل ڈاﻻ ان ﻇالموں نے ایک اور کلمہ جو خلاف تھا اس کلمہ کے جس کی ان سے فرمائش کی گئی تھی، اس پر ہم نے ان پر ایک آفت سماوی بھیجی اس وجہ سے کہ وه حکم کو ضائع کرتے تھے

That is to say,"Who is there to protect and save you from the scourge of Allah if you are suddenly visited by it any time during the night or day?".
یعنی اگر اچانک دن کو یا رات کو کسی وقت خدا کا زبردست ہاتھ تم پر پڑ جائے تو آخر وہ کونسا زور آور حامی و ناصر ہے جو اس کی پکڑ سے تم کو بچا لے گا
