And they who either withhold them, or hinder them[from being paid],
Urdu1| اور جن ان کو ناپ کر یا تول کر دیتے ہیں

Who is he that can provide for you, should He withhold His provision? Aye! they persists in perverseness and aversion.
(بتاؤ) وہ کون ہے جو تمہیں روزی دے اگر وہ(اللہ) اپنی روزی روک لے؟ بلکہ یہ لوگ سرکشی اور(حق سے) نفرت پر اڑے ہوئے ہیں

Who is he that can provide for you, should He withhold His provision? Aye! they persists in perverseness and aversion.
بھلا کوئی ایسا ہے جو تمہیں رِزق دے سکے اگر(اللہ تم سے) اپنا رِزق روک لے؟ بلکہ وہ سرکشی اور(حق سے) نفرت میں مضبوطی سے اَڑے ہوئے ہیں

Could they withhold His mercy, if Allah wanted to shower His mercy upon me?".
یا اللہ مجھے کسی رحمت سے نوازنا چاہے تو کیا وہ اس کی رحمت کو روک سکتے ہیں!‘

Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. Proverbs 23:13.
لڑکے سے تادِیب کو دریغ نہ کر۔ اگر تو اُسے چھڑی سے مار یگا تووہ مرنہ جٓائیگا اِمثال 23

احسان کرو یا(چاہو تو) رکھ چھوڑو(تم سے) کچھ حساب نہیں ہے

Saying of Allah to Sulaiman(Solomon):"This is Our gift, so spend you or withhold, no account will be asked.".
یہ ہے ہمارا عطیہ اب تو احسان کر یا روک رکھ، کچھ حساب نہیں

would accept their repentance and withhold your anger.
جانے کا تہیہ کر لیا ہے۔

This is Our bestowal. So give or withhold as you wish without account.”.
یہ ہماری عطا ہے اب تو چاہے تو احسان کر یا روک رکھ تجھ پر کچھ حساب نہیں

This is Our gift,"(We said to him),"so bestow freely or withhold without reckoning.".

But if you obey Allah and His messenger(Muhammad) he will not withhold from you aught of your deeds.
اور اگر حکم پر چلو گے اﷲ کے اور اس کے رسول کے، کاٹ نہ لے گا تمہارے کاموں میں سے کچھ

intended some mercy for me, could they withhold His mercy?” meaning, they cannot do any of that at all.
تو کیا وہ اس کی رحمت کو روک سکتے ہیں!‘

If We let a human taste Our Mercy and then withhold it from him, he becomes desperate and ungrateful.
اگر کبھی ہم انسان کو اپنی رحمت سے نوازنے کے بعد پھر اس سے محروم کر دیتے ہیں تو وہ مایوس ہوتا ہے اور ناشکری کرنے لگتا ہے
