(To his son came the command):"O Yahya! take hold of the Book with might":
(جب حکم خدا کے مطابق وہ لڑکا پیدا ہوا اور بڑھا تو ہم نے کہا) اے یحییٰ! کتاب کو مضبوطی سے پکڑو

اور زکریا اور یحییٰ اور عیسیٰ اور الیاس کو بھی۔ یہ سب نیکوکار تھے

So Yahya said:“If you take precedence over me in conveying them,
حضرت یحییٰ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا مجھے ڈر ہے

تھام لو ہماری کتاب کو مضبوطی سے۔

We therefore heard his prayer; and bestowed him Yahya, and cured his wife for him;
تو ہم نے اس کی دعا قبول کی اور اسے یحییٰ عطا فرمایا

Yahya bin Ahmad Sirhindi was a 15th century Indian chronicler who wrote Tarikh-i-Mubarak Shahi, a Persian language chronicle of the Delhi Sultanate. Written during the reign of Mubarak Shah, his work is an important source of information for the Sayyid dynasty.
یحییٰ بن احمد سرہندی 15 ویں صدی کا ہندوستانی تاریخ دان تھا جس نے دہلی سلطنت کی فارسی زبان کا تاریخ نامہ تاریخ مبارک لکھا۔ مبارک شاہ کے دور میں لکھا گیا، ان کا کام سید خاندان کے لئے معلومات کا ایک اہم وسیلہ ہے

تو فرشتوں نے انہیں اس حالت میں آواز دی جب کہ وہ محراب میں کھڑے ہوئے نماز پڑھ رہے تھے۔ کہ خدا آپ کو یحییٰ کی بشارت دیتا ہے جو اللہ کے ایک کلمہ(عیسیٰ) کی تصدیق کرنے والا ہوگا۔ سردار، ضبط نفس کرنے والا پارسا اور نیکوکار جماعت میں سے نبی ہوگا

پھر ہم نے اس کی دعا قبول کی اور اسے یحییٰ عطا کیا

Brigadier General Yahya Rasool told state TV that'victory is very near', while another commander has estimated that'the battle will end in five days to a week'.".
بریگیڈئر جنرل یحیٰ رسول نے سرکاری ٹی وی کو بتایا ہے کہ'جیت بہت قریب ہے‘، جبکہ ایک اور کمانڈر نے کہا ہے کہ یہ'جنگ پانچ دن یا ہفتے میں ختم ہو جائے گی‘

تو ہم نے ان کی پکار سن لی۔ اور ان کو یحییٰ بخشے اور ان کی بیوی کو اُن کے(حسن معاشرت کے)

پس فرشتوں نے انہیں آواز دی، جب کہ وه حجرے میں کھڑے نماز پڑھ رہے تھے، کہ اللہ تعالیٰ تجھے یحيٰ کی یقینی خوشخبری دیتا ہے جو اللہ تعالیٰ کے کلمہ کی تصدیق کرنے واﻻ، سردار، ضابط نفس اور نبی ہے نیک لوگوں میں سے
