And whatever expenditure you expend, and whatever vow you vow, surely God knows it. No helpers have the evildoers.
あなたがたが，どんな施し物をしようとも，またどんな誓いを果たそうとも，アッラーは本当に凡てを知っておられる。凡そ不義を行う者を助ける者はない。Whether you ask forgiveness for them or do not ask, it is all the same; God will not forgive them. Surely God does not show a disobedient people the way.
あなたがかれらのために御赦しを祈っても，また祈らなくても，かれらにとって同じである。アッラーは，決してかれらを御赦しになられない。本当にアッラーは，（アッラーの）掟に背く者を御導きになられない。If God were to seize men for their doings, not a living being would be left upon the earth. But He gives them respite for a time ordained. When their time is come, surely God will keep(the interest of) His creatures in view.
もしアッラーが，人間をその所業によって罰されるならば，地上に，一人の生存者も残されなかったであろう。だがかれは期限を定めて，かれらを猶予なされた。だが，かれらの期限が到来すれば，本当にアッラーはしもべたちの監視者であられる。Hast thou not seen how that God has subjected to you all that is in the earth and the ships to run upon the sea at His commandment, and He holds back heaven lest it should fall upon the earth, save by His leave? Surely God is All-gentle to men, All-compassionate.
あなたは見ないのか。アッラーは地上の凡てのものをあなたがたに従わせ，かれの命令によって，船を海上に走らせられる。また天をかれの御許しなく地上に落ちないよう支えられる。本当にアッラーは人間に，優しく慈悲を垂れられる御方である。It was by some mercy of God that thou wast gentle to them; hadst thou been harsh and hard of heart, they would have scattered from about thee. So pardon them, and pray forgiveness for them, and take counsel with them in the affair; and when thou art resolved, put thy trust in God; surely God loves those who put their trust.
あなたがかれらを優しくしたのは，アッラーの御恵みであった。あなたがもしも薄情で心が荒々しかったならば，かれらはあなたの周囲から離れ去ったであろう。だからかれら（の過失）を許し，かれらのために（アッラーの）御赦しを請いなさい。そして諸事にわたり，かれらと相談しなさい。いったん決ったならば，アッラーを信頼しなさい。本当にアッラーは信頼する者を愛でられる。Belongs not sincere religion to God? And those who take protectors, apart from Him--'We only serve them that they may bring us nigh in nearness to God'-- surely God shall judge between them touching that whereon they are at variance. Surely God guides not him who is a liar, unthankful.
信心の誠を尽して仕えるのは，アッラーに対し当然ではないか。だがかれを差し置いて（他に）保護者を求める者は，「わたしたちがかれら（神々）に仕えるのは只わたしたちがアッラーの御側に近づくためである。」（という）。本当にアッラーはかれらの異なる点について，必ずその間を裁決なされる。アッラーは，虚偽で恩を忘れる者を御導きになられない。If you do not help him, yet God has helped him already, when the unbelievers drove him forth the second of two, when the two were in the Cave, when he said to his companion,'Sorrow not; surely God is with us.' Then God sent down on him His Shechina, and confirmed him with legions you did not see; and He made the word of the unbelievers the lowest; and God's word is the uppermost; God is All-mighty, All-wise.
仮令あなたがたがかれ（使徒）を助けず，不信心の者たちが，かれを追放しても，アッラーは必ずかれを助けられる。かれは，只1人（の同僚）と，2人で洞窟にいた時，その同僚に向かって「心配してはならない。アッラーはわたしたちと共におられる。」と言ったその時アッラーはかれの安らぎを，かれ（アブー・バクル）に与え，あなたがたには見えないが，（天使の）軍勢でかれを強められた。また不信者たちの言葉を最も低いものになされ，アッラーの御言葉を最も高められた。本当にアッラーは偉力ならびなく英明であられる。Surely, God never breaks the promise.
本当にアッラーは決して約束を違えられない。Surely, God does not guide the wrongdoers.
本当にアッラーは，不義の民を御導きになられない。Surely, God is Knower of all things.
本当にアッラーは凡てのことを知っておられる。Surely, God is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
本当にアッラーは全聴にして全知である。So eat of that which you have gained in war as lawful and good, and fear God. Surely, God is most forgiving and merciful.
だが（今は），あなたがたが得た戦利品を，合法でまた清い（もの）として受け，アッラーを畏れよ。本当にアッラーは寛容にして慈悲深くあられる。アッラーは，真理によって御裁きになる。だがかれを差し置いて，かれらの祈る者たちは，何も裁くことは出来ない。本当にアッラーは，全聴にして凡てを見透される。Truly, God alone has knowledge of the Hour. He sends down the rain, and He knows what is in the wombs. No soul knows what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die. Surely, God is all knowing, all-aware.
アッラー，本当にかれ（だけ）が，（審判の）時を知っておられる。かれは雨を降らせられる。また胎内にあるものをも知っておられる。だが（人間は）誰も明日自分が何を稼ぐかを知らず，誰も何処で死ぬかを知らない。本当にアッラーは全知にして凡てに通暁される御方であられる。This is surely God's doing.
これはきっと神様のしたことだ。Surely God is with You.
