A REVISED DRAFT RESOLUTION ENTITLED in Arabic translation

At its 1234th meeting, on 15 April 2003, the Commission adopted a revised draft resolution entitled" Renewing emphasis on demand reduction prevention and treatment efforts in compliance with the international drug control treaties"(E/CN.7/2003/L.3/Rev.1), sponsored by Egypt, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Russian Federation, Sweden, Thailand, Ukraine and United States of America.(For the text of the resolution, see chapter I, section C, resolution 46/1.).

اعتمدت اللجنة، في جلستها 1234 المعقودة في 15 نيسان/أبريل 2003، مشروع قرار منقحا عنوانه" تجديد التأكيد على الجهود المعنية بخفض الطلب والوقاية والمعالجــة معــاً امتثــالا للمعاهدات الدولية لمراقبة المخدرات"( E/ CN.7/ 2003/ L.3/ R ev.1)، قدمته كل من الاتحاد الروسي وأوكرانيا وإيطاليا وتايلند ومصر وهنغاريا والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية واليابان.(للاطلاع على نص القرار أنظر القرار 46/1 في الباب جيم من الفصل الأول.

At its 1176th meeting, on 25 March 1999, the Commission adopted a revised draft resolution entitled“International action to mitigate the effects of the relationship between drug abuse, illicit trafficking and conflict situations”(E/CN.7/1999/L.7/Rev.1), sponsored by Azerbaijan, Ethiopia, Egypt(on behalf of the Group of African States), Morocco, Namibia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Switzerland, Ukraine and the United States of America(for the text of the resolution, see chap. At the same meeting, the Commission adopted a revised draft resolution entitled" Cooperation against the drug problem in the region of Asia and the Pacific"(E/CN.7/2001/L.6/Rev.1), sponsored by Australia, Canada, China, Indonesia, Japan, the Lao People ' s Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Myanmar, Norway, the Philippines, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, the United States of America and Viet Nam(for the text, see chap. I, sect. C, resolution 44/1).

At its 10th meeting, on 14 December 2006, the Conference adopted a revised draft resolution entitled" Consideration of bribery of officials of public international organizations"(CAC/COSP/2006/L.18).(For the text, see chap I, sect. A, resolution 1/7.) After adoption of the resolution, the representative of France stated that his Government welcomed the consensus reached in making a first step on that important issue.
