At its third meeting, held in Rome from 6 to 15 November 2006, the Unidroit committee of governmental experts considered the Preliminary draft Convention on Substantive Rules regarding Intermediated Securities, as adopted by the Committee at its second session, held in Rome, from 6 to 14 March 2006(Unidroit 2006 Study LXXVIII Doc. 42; hereinafter the" draft Convention").
The distinction was said to be unclear, in particular in some of the language versions of the preliminary draft convention.
