And to those who believe not in the Hereafter,(it announceth) that We have prepared for them a Penalty Grievous(indeed).
اور یہ بھی(بتاتا ہے) کہ جو آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے اُن کے لئے ہم نے دکھ دینے والا عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے

And will abide under this burden for ever. Grievous shall be the burden on the Day of Resurrection.
وہ اس(عذاب) میں ہمیشہ(پڑے) رہیں گے، اور ان کے لئے قیامت کے دن بہت ہی بُرا بوجھ ہوگا

Surely(as for) those who love that scandal should circulate respecting those who believe, they shall have a grievous chastisement in this world and the hereafter.”.
وہ لوگ جو اہل ایمان میں بے حیائی کے فروغ کو پسند کرتے ہیں، ان کے لیے دنیا اور آخرت میں المناک عذاب ہے۔‘‘النور

taken daughters from among the angels? Most surely you utter a grievous saying.
خود فرشتوں کو بیٹیاں بنایا۔ کچھ شک نہیں کہ(یہ) تم بڑی(نامعقول بات) کہتے ہو

And for those who reject the Signs of their Lord, is a grievous Penalty of abomination.
اور جو منکر ہیں اپنے رب کی باتوں سے، ان کو مار(عذاب)ہے ایک بلا کی دکھ والی

and(for Himself) taken daughters from among the angels? Most surely you utter a grievous saying.
اپنے لئے ملائکہ میں سے لڑکیاں بنائی ہیں یہ تم بہت بڑی بات کہہ رہے ہو

If they desist not from their world of blasphemy verily a grievous chastisement will befall the disbelievers among them.”.
اگر یہ لوگ اپنے اس قول سے باز نہ رہے تو ان میں سے جو کفر پر رہیں گے، انہیں المناک عذاب ضرور پہنچے گا

the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter.
قیامت بڑی سخت(ہولناک) اور بڑی تلخ ہے

Our people, respond to the call of him who calls you to Allah and believe in him. Allah will forgive your sins and will protect you from a grievous chastisement.”.
اے ہماری قوم! اللہ کے بلانے والے کا کہا مانو، اس پر ایمان ﻻؤ، تو اللہ تمہارے گناه بخش دے گا اور تمہیں المناک عذاب سے پناه دےگا

the hour shall be most grievous and bitter.
قیامت بڑی سخت(ہولناک) اور بڑی تلخ ہے

He will forgive you your faults, and deliver you from a Penalty Grievous.
تو اللہ تمہارے تمام گناہ بخش دے گا اور تمہیں المناک سزا سے پناہ دے گا

by God in advance, you would have suffered a grievous punishment for what you took(as booty).
جو کچھ تم لوگوں نے لیا ہے اس کی پاداش میں تم کو بڑی سزا دی جاتی

Allah will forgive your sins and will protect you from a grievous chastisement.”.
تو اللہ تمہارے تمام گناہ بخش دے گا اور تمہیں المناک سزا سے پناہ دے گا

But parties from among them differed; so woe to those who disbelieve, because of their presence on a grievous day!
Al-Quran 19/37: پھر(اہل کتاب کے) فرقوں نے باہم اختلاف کیا۔ سو جو لوگ کافر ہوئے ہیں ان کو بڑے دن(یعنی قیامت کے روز) حاضر ہونے سے خرابی ہے!

And do not touch her with evil, lest the punishment of a grievous day should overtake you.
اور اسے برائی سے ہاتھ نہ لگانا ورنہ تمہیں بڑے دن کا عذاب آ پکڑے گا

Say:"If I disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a grievous Day.".
(یہ بھی) کہہ دو کہ اگر میں اپنے پروردگار کی نافرمانی کروں تو مجھے بڑے دن کے عذاب کا خوف ہے

Say: I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the chastisement of a grievous day.
کہہ دیجئے! کہ مجھے تو اپنے رب کی نافرمانی کرتے ہوئے بڑے دن کے عذاب کا خوف لگتا ہے

Say: Surely I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the chastisement of a grievous day.
تم فرماؤ اگر میں اپنے رب کی نافرمانی کروں تو مجھے بڑے دن کے عذاب کا ڈر ہے

But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day.
تو انہوں نے اسے جھٹلایا تو انہیں شامیانے والے دن کے عذاب نے آلیا، بیشک وہ بڑے دن کا عذاب تھا

Say:"If I disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a grievous Day.".
تم فرماؤ اگر میں اپنے رب کی نافرمانی کروں تو مجھے بڑے دن کے عذاب کا ڈر ہے
