BASED ON A SURVEY in Arabic translation

Pursuant to the requirement contained in paragraph 2(a)(ii) of decision XV/19 that requests the Party to explain why the existing baseline data are incorrect, including information on the methodology used to collect and verify those data, along with supporting documentation, the Secretariat had sought clarification from the Islamic Republic of Iran of its claim that the existing data for the baseline years 1998, 1999 and 2000 were based on a survey conducted from March to December 1998.
