II.26 UNTSO provides support and assistance to the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force(UNDOF) and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon(UNIFIL) in the implementation of their mandates(A/58/6(Sect. 5), para. 5.46).

ثانيا- 26 تقدم هيئة الأمم المتحدة لمراقبة الهدنة الدعم والمساعدة إلى قوة الأمم المتحدة لمراقبة فض الاشتباك وقوة الأمم المتحدة في لبنان في تنفيذ مهامهما(A/58/6(Sect.5)، الفقرة 5-46

Reaffirms the necessity to provide peacekeeping operations with adequate financial resources, especially in their start-up and expanded phases, to enable the timely, full and effective implementation of their mandates in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the Security Council;

تؤكد مجددا ضرورة تزويد عمليات حفظ السلام بالموارد المالية الكافية، وخصوصا في مرحلتي بدئها وتوسيع نطاقها، لتمكينها من تنفيذ ولاياتها في الوقت المناسب وعلى النحو الكامل والفعال، وفقا لقرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة

However, owing to the biennial structure of the regular budget, the financing and backstopping arrangements for such missions no longer adequately supported the implementation of their mandates and led to lack of transparency and inefficiency in mission management.

This report has been prepared in accordance with Human Rights Council decision 1/102, in which the Council decided to extend exceptionally for one year the mandates and mandate holders of all the special procedures of the Commission on Human Rights, and requested the special procedures to continue with the implementation of their mandates.

The six Special Coordinators, appointed in May this year, have all been active in the implementation of their mandates, and I wish to pay tribute to them all for the unstinting efforts in the difficult and often frustrating task of trying to build consensus in the sensitive but important domains with which they have been entrusted.

In adhering to such principles Croatia has accepted the internationalization of the problem and the presence of international representatives, including the presence of the United Nations Protection Force(UNPROFOR) and the United Nations Confidence Restoration Operation(UNCRO) on its soil, convinced that consistent, efficient and determined implementation of their mandates may lead to the desired progress towards peace.

Recalling Human Rights Council resolution 6/30, in which the Council requested the Advisory Committee to integrate regularly and systematically a gender perspective into the implementation of their mandates, including when examining the intersection of multiple forms of discrimination against women and to include in their reports information on and qualitative analysis of human rights of women and girls.

إذ تشير إلى قرار مجلس حقوق الإنسان 6/30، الذي طلب فيه المجلس إلى اللجنة الاستشارية أن تدمج على نحو منتظم ومنهجي منظوراً جنسانياً في تنفيذ ولاياتها، بما في ذلك عند دراسة السمة المشتركة بين الأشكال المتعددة للتمييز ضد المرأة، وأن تدرج في تقاريرها معلومات عن حقوق الإنسان للنساء والفتيات وتحليلاً نوعياً لهذه الحقوق

By one resolution, special rapporteurs, special procedures and other human rights mechanisms of the Commission and the Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities were requested to take a gender perspective regularly and systematically into account in the implementation of their mandates and to include information and qualitative analysis in their reports on violations of the human rights of women.

وطلب أحد القرارات إلى المقررين الخاصين، واﻹجراءات الخاصة وغيرها من آليات حقوق اﻹنسان التابعة للجنة، وإلى اللجنة الفرعية المعنية بمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات، القيام، بشكل منتظم ومنهجي، بمراعاة منظور نوع الجنس في تنفيذ وﻻياتها، وإلى إدراج المعلومات والتحليﻻت النوعية في تقاريرها المتعلقة بانتهاكات حقوق اﻹنسان للمرأة
