Most of them just follow conjecture; indeed conjecture is no substitute for the truth. Indeed Allah knows best what they do.
They follow mere conjecture and verily the conjecture avails nothing against the conviction.
وہ صرف گمان کے پیچھے چلتے ہیں، اور بے شک گمان یقین کے مقابلے میں کسی کام نہیں آتا‘‘Most of them follow nothing except conjecture. But conjecture does not help against the truth. Allah knows the things they do.
اور ان کی اکثریت تو صرف خیالات کا اتباع کرتی ہے جب کہ گمان حق کے بارے میں کوئی فائدہ نہیں پہنچاسکتا بیشک اللہ ان کے اعمال سے خوب واقف ہےMost of them follow nothing but mere conjecture. But conjecture is of no use against the Truth. God is well aware of what they do.
اور ان کی اکثریت تو صرف خیالات کا اتباع کرتی ہے جب کہ گمان حق کے بارے میں کوئی فائدہ نہیں پہنچاسکتا بیشک اللہ ان کے اعمال سے خوب واقف ہےAlthough they have no knowledge regarding that. They only follow their conjecture and conjecture can never take the place of the Truth.
حالانکہ ان کے پاس اس سلسلہ میں کوئی علم نہیں ہے یہ صرف وہم و گمان کے پیچھے چلے جارہے ہیں اور گمان حق کے بارے میں کوئی فائدہ نہیں پہنچا سکتا ہےAlthough they have no knowledge regarding that. They only follow their conjecture and conjecture can never take the place of the Truth.
حالانکہ اس معاملہ کا کوئی علم انہیں حاصل نہیں ہے، وہ محض گمان کی پیروی کر رہے ہیں، اور گمان حق کی جگہ کچھ بھی کام نہیں دے سکتاMost of the unbelievers follow only conjecture which certainly cannot serve as a substitute for the Truth. God knows well what they do.
ان میں سے اکثر لوگ صرف گمان کی پیروی کرتے ہیں، بیشک They only follow conjecture, and personal tahwā, while the guidance has come to them from their Lord.
یہ لوگ صرف وہم و گمان اور خواہش نفسانی کے پیچھے پڑے ہوئے ہیں حالانکہ ان کے پاس ان کے رب کی طرف سے ہدایت پہنچ چکی ہےAnd assuredly Iblis found his conjecture true concerning them;
اور ان پر ابلیس نے اپنے گمان کو سچا کردکھایا تو مومنین کے ایکAnd certainly the Shaitan found true his conjecture concerning them, so they follow him,
اور ان پر ابلیس نے اپنے گمان کو سچا کردکھایا تو مومنین کے ایک گروہ Although they have no knowledge regarding that. They only follow their conjecture and conjecture can never take the place of the Truth.
اور انہیں اِس Most of them follow not but conjecture. Assuredly conjecture can by no means take the place of truth. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do.
اور ان میں اکثر تو نہیں چلتے مگر گمان پر بیشک They do but follow only conjecture(not authoritative knowledge), and they do nothing except making up suppositions.
وہ پیروی نہیں کرتے مگر گمان کی اور وہ نہیں لگاتے مگر صرف تخمینے۔‘They have no knowledge about It, other than conjecture, and surely they did not kill him.
