He said,‘God forbid that we should detain anyone except him with whom we found our wares, for then we would indeed be wrongdoers.'.
Do those of the Lord and the rabbis not forbid them to speak sinfully
call others to good, and enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong: those who do this shall be successful.

یوسف(علیہ السلام) نے کہا: اﷲ کی پناہ کہ ہم نے جس کے پاس اپنا سامان پایا اس کے سوا کسی(اور) کو پکڑ لیں تب تو ہم ظالموں میں سے ہو جائیں گےWhy do the rabbis and religious scholars not forbid them from saying what is sinful and devouring what is unlawful?
انہیں کیوں نہیں منع کرتے ان کے پادری اور درویش گناہ کی بات کہنےWhy do not the rabbis and the scribes forbid them from sinful speech and consuming illicit gains? Surely,
خدا والے فضلاء اور علماء ان کو گناہ کی بات کرنے(جھوٹ بولنے) اور حرام کھانے سے منع کیوں نہیں کرتے؟ کتنا برا ہے وہ کام جو یہ(علماء)Why did the men of God and rabbis not forbid them from following their sinful words and their consuming of unlawful gains.
انہیں کیوں نہیں منع کرتے ان کے پادری اور درویش گناہ کی بات کہنےForbid not the good things which Allah has made lawful for you, nor transgress(or commit excess); verily, Allah loves not the transgressors.
جو پاکیزہ چیزیں اللہ نے تمہارے لئے حلال کی ہیں انہیں(اپنے اوپر) حرام مت ٹھہراؤ اور نہ(ہی) حد سے بڑھو، بیشک اللہ حد سے تجاوز کرنے والوں کو پسند نہیں فرماتاWhy do their rabbis and scholars not forbid them to utter sinful words or to consume what is unlawful?
انہیں کیوں نہیں منع کرتے ان کے پادری اور درویش گناہ کی بات کہنےWhy do not their priests and monks forbid them from speaking evil and devouring the forbidden? Undoubtedly what they do is extremely evil.
بھلا ان کے مشائخ اور علماء انہیں گناہ کی باتوں اور حرام کھانے سے منع کیوں نہیں کرتے؟ بلاشبہ وہ بھی برا کرتے ہیںthe rabbis not forbid them to utter sin, and consume the unlawful? Evil is the thing they have been working.
حرام کھانے سے منع کیوں نہیں کرتے؟ بلاشبہ وہ بھی برا کرتے ہیںreligious scholars not forbid them from saying what is sinful and devouring what is unlawful? How wretched is what they have been practicing.
