And to Midian We sent Shu‘ayb,
اور مَدیَن کی طرف ان کے(قومی)And to Midian We sent Shu‘ayb, their brother. He said,‘O my people!
اور ہم نے مدین کی طرف ان And to Midian WE sent their brother Shu'aib who said,'O my people, worship ALLAH, and be mindful of the Last Day and commit not iniquity in the earth, creating disorder.'.

اور مدین کی طرف ان But We brought forth generations, and their lives dragged on for them. And thou wast not a dweller in Midian, reciting unto them Our revelations,
To Midian We sent their brother Shu'aib. He said:"O people, worship God and be ready for the Day of Resurrection. Do no evil, and create no mischief in the land.".
مدین کی طرف ان کے ہم قوم شعیب کو بھیجا تو اس نے فرمایا، اے میری قوم! اللہ کی بندگی کرو اور پچھلے دن کی امید رکھو اور زمین میں فساد پھیلاتے نہ پھروTo Midian We sent their brother Shu'aib. He said:"O people,

اور اہل مدین بھی جھٹلا چکے ہیںMidian, and Moses had also called their Prophets liars. I gave respite to the unbelievers,

اور اہل مدین نے بھی۔ اور موسیٰ کو بھی جھٹلایا گیا۔ سو پہلے میں And the inhabitants of Midian also charged their prophets with falsehood.
اور باشندگانِ مدین نے(بھی جھٹلایا تھا)Has not the news reached them of those before them- the people of Noah, and Ad, and Thamud, and the people of Abraham, and the dwellers of Midian, and the cities which were overthrown?
کیا انہیں اپنے سے پہلے لوگوں کی خبریں نہیں پہنچیں، قوم نوح اور عاد اور ثمود اور قوم ابراہیم اور اہل مدین اور اہل مؤتفکات(الٹی ہوئی بستیوں کے رہنے والے) کی?When he came to the water wells of Midian he found there some people drawing water, and he found two women apart from them who were keeping back(their flocks).'What is your business' he asked. They replied:'We cannot draw water until the shepherds have driven away(their flocks),
مدین کے پانی پر جب آپ پہنچے تو دیکھا کہ لوگوں کی ایک جماعت وہاں پانی پلا رہی ہے اور دو عورتیں الگ کھڑی اپنے(جانوروں کو) روکتی ہوئی دکھائیAnd unto Midian(We sent) their brother Shu'eyb. He said:
اور مدین کی طرف ان When he arrived at the well of Midian, he found some people watering(their sheep) and two women keeping
اور جب مدین کے پانی پر پہنچا وہاں لوگوں کی ایک جماعت کو پانی پلاتے ہوئے پایاAnd unto Midian(We sent) their brother Shu'eyb. He said:
اور ہم نے مدین کی طرف ان When he arrived at the well of Midian, he found some people watering(their sheep) and two women keeping the sheep away from the others. He asked the two women,"What is the matter with you?" They replied,"We cannot water our sheep until all the shepherds have driven away their flocks.
مدین کے پانی پر جب آپ پہنچے تو دیکھا کہ لوگوں کی ایک جماعت وہاں پانی پلا رہی ہے اور دو عورتیں الگ کھڑی اپنے(جانوروں کو)And unto Midian(We sent) their brother Shu'eyb. He said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other Allah save Him!
