IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROGRAMME OF WORK in Arabic translation

The Conference reviewed the progress made in the implementation of the programmes of work of the Convention, as well as issues for in-depth consideration. It considered and adopted the following decisions.

وقد استعرض المؤتمر التقدم المحرز في تنفيذ برنامج عمل الاتفاقية، والقضايا التي تحتاج إلى نظر متعمق، وقد نظر في المؤتمر المقررات التالية واعتمدها

The tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity requested the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice to take into account, in the implementation of the programmes of work on protected areas and on marine and coastal biodiversity, the impact of ocean noise on marine protected areas.

وطلب الاجتماع العاشر لمؤتمر الأطراف في اتفاقية التنوع البيولوجي من الهيئة الفرعية المعنية بالمشورة العلمية والتقنية والتكنولوجية أن تراعي، في تنفيذ برامج العمل المتصلة بالمناطق المحمية والتنوع البيولوجي البحري والساحلي، تأثير الضجيج في المحيطات على المناطق البحرية المحمية(

By decision X/13, the Conference of the Parties also requested the Subsidiary Body to consider the impacts of ocean acidification on marine biodiversity and habitats and to take into account, in the implementation of the programmes of work on protected areas and on marine and coastal biodiversity, the impact of ocean noise on marine protected areas(see also sect. IV.C.6 below).

It further invited Parties to submit to the secretariat, by the twenty-seventh session of the SBSTA, their views on further activities, based on experience in the implementation of the programme of work, with a view to decide on further activities for inclusion in the five-year programme of work as well as appropriate timing and modalities.

كما دعت الأطراف أن تُقدّم إلى الأمانة، قبل انعقاد دورتها السابعة والعشرين، آراءها بشأن الأنشطة الإضافية، استناداً إلى الخبرة المكتسبة في تنفيذ برنامج العمل، بغية تقرير ما هي الأنشطة الإضافية التي ينبغي إدراجها في برنامج عمل السنوات الخمس فضلاً عن التوقيت المناسب والطرائق المناسبة
