National implementation initiatives by States include the hosting by the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland of a multistakeholder conference, with Working Group participation, on the implementation of the Guiding Principles and elaboration of a Government-wide strategy on dissemination and implementation, following consultations held with business enterprises and civil society organizations, as well as the work of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Corporate Social Responsibility of the United Kingdom Parliament.
(f) Developing good practices in multi-stakeholder dialogue at the national level on the implementation of the Guiding Principles.
This will be done in order to solicit information, documentation, good practice, challenges and lessons learned on the implementation of the Guiding Principles.

States should avoid the compartmentalization of responsibilities on implementation of the Guiding Principles within single departments.
