ب( وفي إطار البند ١١٤ أيضا، يوجه اﻻنتباه إلى الفقرة ٢٣ من قرار الجمعية العامة ٥٢/١٢ باء المؤرخ ١٩ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٧، الذي ﻻحظت الجمعية بموجبه أن اﻷمين العام قد قدم مشروع مدونة قواعد السلوك لموظفي اﻷمم المتحدة)A/52/488 إلى الجمعية العامة، ووافقت على التعجيل بالنظر فيهAt the same meeting, the Council decided, without a vote, that there was agreement on the President ' s text entitled" Institution-building of the United Nations Human Rights Council"(A/HRC/5/L.2), and on the draft code of conduct for special procedures mandate-holders of the Human Rights Council(A/HRC/5/L.3/Rev.1), considered jointly by the Council.

ورأى بعض الوفود أنَّ مشروع مدونة قواعد السلوك يتضمَّن تدابير تتعلق بالشفافية وتعزيز الثقة ويشتمل على نهج شامل إزاء مسألة السلامة والأمن في الفضاء الخارجي يسترشد فيه بالمبادئ التالية:Article 6.2.2 of the draft Code of Conduct is concerned with objectives within the overall issue of fisheries management, and the relevant text(subject to revision) notes that" States and fisheries management organizations or arrangements should ensure that long-term management objectives are set to provide a high probability that, inter alia, waste, by-catch and discards in fisheries are progressively reduced and avoided as far as practical.".
تتعلق المادة ٦-٢-٢ من مشروع مدونة قواعد السلوك باﻷهداف الداخلة ضمن القضية العامة ﻹدارة مصائد اﻷسماك؛ ويشير النص ذو الصلة الخاضع للتنقيح الى أنه" ينبغي للدول ومنظمات أو ترتيبات إدارة مصائد اﻷسماك أن تكفل وضع أهداف اﻹدارة طويلة اﻷجل بطريقة ترفع، في جملة أمور، من احتمال تقليل الفاقد والصيد العرضي والمرتجع بصورة مطردة وتﻻفيه بالقدر الممكن من الناحية العمليةArticle 10.1.8 of the draft Code of Conduct is concerned with responsible fish utilization within the overall context of post-harvest practices and trade, and the text notes that" States should encourage those involved in fish processing, distribution and marketing to reduce post-harvest losses and waste, and improve the utilization of by-catch to the extent that it is consistent with responsible fisheries management practices.".
