اب عذرات نہ تراشو، تم نے ایمان لانے کے بعد کفر کیا ہے، اگر ہم نے تم میں سے ایک گروہ کو معاف کر بھی دیا تو دوسرے گروہ کو تو ہم ضرور سزا دیں گے کیونکہ وہ مجرم ہے

Those who were conceited will say to those who were subdued,“Did we stop you from the guidance after it came to you? In fact you yourselves were guilty!”.
وہ بڑے بننے والے ان دبے ہوئے لوگوں کو جواب دیں گے"کیا ہم نے تمہیں اُس ہدایت سے روکا تھا جو تمہارے پاس آئی تھی؟ نہیں، بلکہ تم خود مجرم تھے

So the family of Firaun picked him up, in order that he become their enemy and a sorrow upon them; indeed Firaun and Haman and their armies were guilty.
چنانچہ فرعون کے گھر والوں نے اسے(دریا سے) اٹھا لیا تاکہ وہ ان کیلئے دشمن اور رنج و غم(کا باعث) بنے۔ بیشک فرعون، ہامان اور دونوں کے لشکر والے خطاکار(اور غلط کار) تھے

And certainly We sent before you apostles to their people, so they came to them with clear arguments, then We gave the punishment to those who were guilty; and helping the believers is ever incumbent on Us.
اور ہم تم سے پہلے کتنے رسول اپنی اپنی قوم کے پاس بھیج چکے ہیں سو ان کے پاس نشانیاں لے کر آئے پھر ہم نے ان سے بدلہ لیا جو گناہگار تھے اور مومنوں کی مدد ہم پر لازم تھی

And certainly We sent before you messengers to their people, so they came to them with clear arguments, then We gave the punishment to those who were guilty; and helping the believers is ever incumbent on Us.
اور درحقیقت ہم نے آپ سے پہلے رسولوں کو ان کی قوموں کی طرف بھیجا اور وہ ان کے پاس واضح نشانیاں لے کر آئے پھر ہم نے(تکذیب کرنے والے) مجرموں سے بدلہ لے لیا، اور مومنوں کی مدد کرنا ہمارے ذمۂ کرم پر تھا(اور ہے)o

And remember when We sent Lot as a Messeng to his people and he said to them:'Do you realize you practise an indecency of which no other people in the world were guilty of before you?
اور لوط(علیہ السلام) کو(بھی ہم نے اسی طرح بھیجا) جب انہوں نے اپنی قوم سے کہا: کیا تم(ایسی) بے حیائی کا ارتکاب کرتے ہو جسے تم سے پہلے اہلِ جہاں میں سے کسی نے نہیں کیا تھا،?

you(yourselves) were guilty.
تمہارے پاس آئی بلکہ تم خود مجرم تھے

Those who were proud say unto those who were despised: Did we drive you away from the guidance after it had come unto you? Nay, but ye were guilty.
وہ بڑے بننے والے ان دبے ہوئے لوگوں کو جواب دیں گے"کیا ہم نے تمہیں اُس ہدایت سے روکا تھا جو تمہارے پاس آئی تھی؟ نہیں، بلکہ تم خود مجرم تھے

Certainly We sent apostles to their people before you, and they brought them manifest proofs. Then We took vengeance upon those who were guilty, and it was a must for Us to help the faithful.
اور ہم تم سے پہلے کتنے رسول اپنی اپنی قوم کے پاس بھیج چکے ہیں سو ان کے پاس نشانیاں لے کر آئے پھر ہم نے ان سے بدلہ لیا جو گناہگار تھے اور مومنوں کی مدد ہم پر لازم تھی

Those who were proud shall say to those who were deemed weak: Did we turn you away from the guidance after it had come to you? Nay, you(yourselves) were guilty.
وہ بڑے بننے والے ان دبے ہوئے لوگوں کو جواب دیں گے"کیا ہم نے تمہیں اُس ہدایت سے روکا تھا جو تمہارے پاس آئی تھی؟ نہیں، بلکہ تم خود مجرم تھے

So why were not there some people, from the generations before you, who had some goodness remaining in them in order to prevent(others) from causing turmoil in the earth? Except a few among them- the very ones whom We had rescued; and the unjust remained pursuing what they were given, and they were guilty.
تو کیوں نہ ہوئے تم میں سے اگلی سنگتوں(قوموں) میں ایسے جن میں بھلائی کا کچھ حصہ لگا رہا ہوتا کہ زمین میں فساد سے روکتے ہاں ان میں تھوڑے تھے وہی جن کو ہم نے نجات دی اور ظالم اسی عیش کے پیچھے پڑے رہے جو انہیں دیا گیا اور وہ گنہگار تھے

But if it is found that those two were guilty of perjury, let two others stand in their place[who are] is truer than their testimony, and we have not transgressed. Indeed, we would then be of the wrongdoers.".">
پھر اگر معلوم ہوجائے کہ وہ دونوں گناہ کے حقدار ہوگئے ہیں تو ان کی جگہ

But why were there not among the generations before you those possessing understanding, who should have forbidden the making of mischief in the earth, except a few of those whom We delivered from among them? And those who were unjust went after what they are made to enjoy of plenty, and they were guilty.
تو کیوں نہ ہوئے تم میں سے اگلی سنگتوں(قوموں) میں ایسے جن میں بھلائی کا کچھ حصہ لگا رہا ہوتا کہ زمین میں فساد سے روکتے ہاں ان میں تھوڑے تھے وہی جن کو ہم نے نجات دی اور ظالم اسی عیش کے پیچھے پڑے رہے جو انہیں دیا گیا اور وہ گنہگار تھے

If only there had been among the generations before you men possessing a remnant(of good sense) to warn(their people) from corruption in the earth, as did a few of those whom We saved from them! The wrong-doers followed that by which they were made sapless, and were guilty.
تو کیوں نہ ہوئے تم میں سے اگلی سنگتوں(قوموں) میں ایسے جن میں بھلائی کا کچھ حصہ لگا رہا ہوتا کہ زمین میں فساد سے روکتے ہاں ان میں تھوڑے تھے وہی جن کو ہم نے نجات دی اور ظالم اسی عیش کے پیچھے پڑے رہے جو انہیں دیا گیا اور وہ گنہگار تھے
