In that regard, we call upon the developed countries to review their ODA commitments made in the Istanbul Programme of Action with a view to further enhancing the resources for the least developed countries, as they are the most in need and their access to other sources of finance is limited, and invite other developing countries, consistent with their capabilities, to provide support for the effective implementation of the Programme of Action within the framework of South-South cooperation;
My delegation believes that for the effective implementation of the Programme of Action human resources development should be given the highest priority.
