اور یہی بات اپنی اولاد میں پیچھے چھوڑ گیا تاکہ وہ رجوع کریںAnd he made it a word to continue in his posterity that they may return.
(اور انہوں نے اس کلمے(توحید) کو اپنے پچھلوں میں باقی رہنے والی بات بنادیا، تاکہ وہ رجوع کریںBut that myself should be the root and father of many kings. Yet it was said it should not stand in thy posterity.

پھر بھی یہ کہا گیا کہ یہ تیری نسل میں کھڑا نہیں ہوناMy Lord! Make me to establish proper worship, and some of my posterity(also); our Lord! and accept my prayer.
ا ے میرے پروردگار، مجھے نماز قائم کرنے والا بنا اور میری اولاد سے بھی(ایسے لوگ اٹھا جو یہ کام کریں) پروردگار، میری دعا قبول کرAnd of the posterity of Abraham and Israel-- of those whom We guided and chose;

تُم پر وہ دن آئیں گے جب تم کو آنکڑیوں سے اور تمہاری اولاد کوشستوں سے کھینچ لے جائیں گےThen there succeeded to them a posterity who neglected the prayers and followed lusts; so presently they shall meet with perdition.*Chapter.

اور(ابراہیم علیہ السلام) اسی کو اپنی اوﻻد میں بھی باقی رہنے والی بات قائم کر گئے تاکہ لوگ(شرک سے) باز آتے رہیںI have settled some of my posterity in an uncultivable valley near to Your Holy House, our Lord!
میں نے اپنی ذریت میں سے بعض کو ایک بِن کھیتی کی زمین میں بسایا ہے، تیرے محترم گھر کے پاس، اے رب!
