Examples of using Preceded in English and their translations into Urdu

That Allah may forgive for you what preceded of your sin and what will follow
تاکہ اللہ تمہارے سبب سے گناہ بخشے تمہارے اگلوں کے اور تمہارے پچھلوں کے

Those who preceded them said the same thing but they gained nothing from what they did;
ان سے اگلے بھی یہی بات کہہ چکے ہیں پس ان کی کارروائی ان کے کچھ کام نہ آئی

Those who preceded them said the same thing
ان سے اگلے بھی ایسے ہی کہہ چکے

And indeed We have sent down towards you clear verses, and some account of those who preceded you, and advice for the pious.
اور البتہ ہم نے تمہارے پاس روشن آیتیں بھیج دی ہیں اور جن میں تم سے پہلوں کے حالات ہیں او رجو پرہیز گاروں کے لیے نصیحت ہیں

there was difference regarding it, and but for a word that preceded from thy Lord,
تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے پہلے بات نہ ہوگئی ہوتی

So did they not travel in the land to see what sort of fate befell those who preceded them? Allah poured ruin upon them; and for the disbelievers are several like it.
کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سفر و سیاحت نہیں کی کہ وہ دیکھ لیتے کہ ان لوگوں کا انجام کیسا ہوا جو ان سے پہلے تھے۔ اﷲ نے ان پر ہلاکت و بربادی ڈال دی۔ اور کافروں کے لئے اسی طرح کی بہت سی ہلاکتیں ہیں

And as for those who came after them, they say,'Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers, who preceded us in belief, and put Thou not into our hearts any rancour towards those who believe.
اور وہ جو ان کے بعد آئے عرض کرتے ہیں اے ہمارے رب ہمیں بخش دے اور ہمارے بھائیوں کو جو ہم سے پہلے ایمان لائے

clear unto you, and to guide you onto the[righteous] ways of life of those who preceded you, 35 and to turn unto you in His mercy:
تمہیں ان لوگوں کے طریقوں کی ہدایت بخشے جو تم سے پہلے گزر چکے ہیں ۷۳* نیز وہ چاہتا ہے

forgive us, and our brethren who preceded us in faith, and leave no malice in our hearts towards those who believe.
ہمارے بھائیوں کے جو ہم سے پہلے ایمان لائے ہیں گناہ معاف فرما

So did they not travel in the land to see what sort of fate befell those who preceded them? Allah poured ruin upon them;
کیا یہ لوگ زمین میں چلتے پھرتے نہیں کہ دیکھتے کہ ان لوگوں کا انجام کیا ہوا جو ان سے پہلے تھے اللہ نے ان کو ہلاک کر دیا

if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them.
تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے ایک بات پہلے نہ ہوچکی ہوتی تو ان میں فیصلہ کردیا جاتا۔

And those who came after them, saying,"Our Lord, forgive us, and our brethren who preceded us in faith, and leave no malice in our hearts towards those who believe.
(اور جو لوگ ان کے بعد آئے وہ کہتے ہیں: اے ہمارے رب!ہمیں بخش دے اور ہمارے ان بھائیوں کو بھی بخش دے جو ایمان کی حالت میں ہم سے پہلے گزر چکے ہیں، اور ایمان والوں کے بارے میں ہمارے دل میں کسی بھی قسم کا کینہ نہ باقی رکھ

who has a clear proof from his Lord and a witness from Him and preceded by the Book of Musa, an Imam(a guide)
ایک گواہ ہو اور ا س سے قبل موسیٰ کی کتاب پیشوا(امام)

our Lord, do not impose on us a burden like the one you imposed on those who preceded us(Jews and Christians), our Lord!
اے ہمارے پروردگار نہ رکھ ہم پر بھاری بوجھ جیسا کہ تو نے رکھا تھا ان پر جو ہم سے پہلے تھے!

Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in out hearts any resentment toward those who have believed.
ہمیں بخش دے او رہمارے ان بھائیوں کو بھی جو ایمان قبول کرنے میں ہم سے سبقت لے گئے اور ہمارے دلوں میں ان لوگوں کے متعلق کینہ پیدا نہ فرما جو ایمان لائے۔'

had it not been for a Word that preceded from your Lord(their disputes)
تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے ایک بات پہلے نہ ٹھہر چکی ہوتی

And[there is a share for] those who came after them, saying,‘Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts[any] resentment toward those who have believed.
(اور جو لوگ ان کے بعد آئے وہ کہتے ہیں: اے ہمارے رب!ہمیں بخش دے اور ہمارے ان بھائیوں کو بھی بخش دے جو ایمان کی حالت میں ہم سے پہلے گزر چکے ہیں، اور ایمان والوں کے بارے میں ہمارے دل میں کسی بھی قسم کا کینہ نہ باقی رکھ

from their Lord recited by a witness from Him, and preceded by the book of Moses as a guide and mercy?
ا س سے قبل موسیٰ کی کتاب پیشوا(امام) اور رحمت(اس کی تصدیق کرتی ہو)?

So did they not travel in the land to see what sort of fate befell those who preceded them? Allah poured ruin upon them;
کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سیر نہیں کی وہ دیکھتے ان کا انجام کیسا ہوا جو ان سے پہلے تھے الله نے انہیں ہلاک کر دیا

if not for a word that preceded from your Lord, it would have been judged between them[immediately]
