Mr President, the  Labour delegation of the  European Parliament voted against Mr Lehne's amendments to the common position.
This was the  compromise to  which we gave our agreement, which includes 13 amendments to the common position.
On 30 March 2004, the  European Parliament adopted on its second reading the  two above-mentioned amendments to the common position.
On 11 April 2000 the  European Parliament adopted amendments to the common position which are the  subject of this Communication.
On 16 January 2001 Parliament adopted on second reading thirteen amendments to the common position.
As a result the  Commission is able to  accept all amendments to the common position from the  European Parliament.
Where several amendments to the common position have been tabled they shall beput to the  vote in the  order set out in Rule155; 155;
That is why there are some amendments to the common position which we simply must accept.
Let me comment on the  amendments to the common position that are offered by the report that we are considering tonight.
It is recalled that out of the  14 amendments to the common position voted by the  European Parliament in its second reading,
a resolution containing 5 amendments to the Common Position.
On 11 March 2004, the  European Parliament adopted, at the  second reading, a resolution containing three amendments to the Common Position.
On 15 March 2000, on the  second reading, Parliament adopted a favourable legislative resolution comprising 13 amendments to the common position.

On 3 October 2000, the  European Parliament adopted at second reading a resolution including 15 amendments to the common position.
On 6 July 2000, the  European Parliament adopted at second reading 11 amendments to the common position.
