ദൂതനെയും നിങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള കൈകാര്യകര്‍ത്താക്കളെയും അനുസരിക്കുക. ഇനി വല്ല കാര്യത്തിലും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ ഭിന്നിപ്പുണ്ടാകുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങളത് അല്ലാഹുവിലേക്കും റസൂലിലേക്കും മടക്കുക. നിങ്ങള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിലും അന്ത്യദിനത്തിലും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍( അതാണ് വേണ്ടത്‌.)

അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ നിങ്ങളെന്നോട് തര്‍ക്കിക്കുകയാണോ? അവനാകട്ടെ എന്നെ നേര്‍വഴിയിലാക്കിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്‌. നിങ്ങള്‍ അവനോട് പങ്കുചേര്‍ക്കുന്ന യാതൊന്നിനെയും ഞാന്‍ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നില്ല. എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതെന്തോ അതല്ലാതെ( സംഭവിക്കുകയില്ല.)

He hath guided me? I fear not at all that which ye set up beside Him unless my Lord willeth aught. My Lord includeth all things in His knowledge. Will ye not then remember?
അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ കാര്യത്തിലാണോ നിങ്ങളെന്നോടു തര്‍ക്കിക്കുന്നത്? അവനെന്നെ നേര്‍വഴിയിലാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങള്‍ അവന്റെ പങ്കാളികളാക്കുന്ന ഒന്നിനെയും ഞാന്‍ പേടിക്കുന്നില്ല. എന്റെ നാഥന്‍ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതല്ലാതെ ഒന്നും ഇവിടെ സംഭവിക്കുകയില്ല. എന്റെ നാഥന്റെ അറിവ് എല്ലാറ്റിനെയും ഉള്‍ക്കൊള്ളുന്നു. എന്നിട്ടും നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിച്ചു മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ലേ?

then He shall give you life; is there any of your associates does aught of that? Glory be to Him! High be He exalted above that they associate!
നിങ്ങളെ അവന്‍ മരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. പിന്നീട് അവന്‍ നിങ്ങളെ ജീവിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. അതില്‍ പെട്ട ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു കാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്ന വല്ലവരും നിങ്ങള്‍ പങ്കാളികളാക്കിയവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലുണ്ടോ? അവന്‍ എത്രയോ പരിശുദ്ധന്‍. അവര്‍ പങ്കുചേര്‍ക്കുന്നതിനെല്ലാം അവന്‍ അതീതനായിരിക്കുന്നു!

they shall not be able to hurt thee in aught; and if thou judgest, judge between them with equity, verily Allah loveth the equitable.
അവരെ അവഗണിച്ച് കളയുകയോ ചെയ്യുക. നീ അവരെ അവഗണിച്ച് കളയുന്ന പക്ഷം അവര്‍ നിനക്ക് ഒരു ദോഷവും വരുത്തുകയില്ല. എന്നാല്‍ നീ തീര്‍പ്പുകല്‍പിക്കുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ അവര്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ നീതിപൂര്‍വ്വം തീര്‍പ്പുകല്‍പിക്കുക. നീതിപാലിക്കുന്നവരെ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

O Prophet! when believing women come to you giving you a pledge that they will not associate aught with Allah, and will not steal,
പ്രവാചകരേ, അല്ലാഹുവില്‍ ഒന്നിനെയും പങ്കുചേര്‍ക്കുകയില്ല; മോഷ്ടിക്കുകയില്ല; വ്യഭിചരിക്കുകയില്ല; സന്താനഹത്യ നടത്തുകയില്ല; തങ്ങളുടെ കൈകാലുകള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ യാതൊരു വ്യാജവും മെനഞ്ഞുണ്ടാക്കുകയില്ല; നല്ല കാര്യത്തിലൊന്നും നിന്നോട്

Come now to a word common between us and you, that we serve none but God, and that we associate not aught with Him, and do not some of us take others as Lords, apart from God.'
ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കുമിടയില്‍ സമമായുള്ള ഒരു വാക്യത്തിലേക്ക നിങ്ങള്‍ വരുവിന്‍. അതായത് അല്ലാഹുവെയല്ലാതെ നാം ആരാധിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും, അവനോട് യാതൊന്നിനെയും പങ്കുചേര്‍ക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും നമ്മളില്‍ ചിലര്‍ ചിലരെ അല്ലാഹുവിനു പുറമെ രക്ഷിതാക്കളാക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക(

not serve any but Allah and(that) we shall not associate aught with Him, and(that) some of us shall not take others for lords besides Allah;
ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കുമിടയില്‍ സമമായുള്ള ഒരു വാക്യത്തിലേക്ക നിങ്ങള്‍ വരുവിന്‍. അതായത് അല്ലാഹുവെയല്ലാതെ നാം ആരാധിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും, അവനോട് യാതൊന്നിനെയും പങ്കുചേര്‍ക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും നമ്മളില്‍ ചിലര്‍ ചിലരെ അല്ലാഹുവിനു പുറമെ രക്ഷിതാക്കളാക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക(

O Prophet! when believing women come to you giving you a pledge that they will not associate aught with Allah, and will not steal,
ഓ; നബീ, അല്ലാഹുവോട് യാതൊന്നിനെയും പങ്കുചേര്‍ക്കുകയില്ലെന്നും, മോഷ്ടിക്കുകയില്ലെന്നും, വ്യഭിചരിക്കുകയില്ലെന്നും, തങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെ കൊന്നുകളയുകയില്ലെന്നും, തങ്ങളുടെ കൈകാലുകള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ വ്യാജവാദം കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവരികയില്ലെന്നും,

that we shall worship none save Allah's and that we shall not associate aught with Him, and that none of you shall take others as Lords beside Allah. Then if they turn away,
ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കുമിടയില്‍ സമമായുള്ള ഒരു വാക്യത്തിലേക്ക നിങ്ങള്‍ വരുവിന്‍. അതായത് അല്ലാഹുവെയല്ലാതെ നാം ആരാധിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും, അവനോട് യാതൊന്നിനെയും പങ്കുചേര്‍ക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും നമ്മളില്‍ ചിലര്‍ ചിലരെ അല്ലാഹുവിനു പുറമെ രക്ഷിതാക്കളാക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക(

O Prophet! when believing women come Unto thee swearing fealty Unto thee, that they shall not associate aught with Allah, nor they shall steal,
ഓ; നബീ, അല്ലാഹുവോട് യാതൊന്നിനെയും പങ്കുചേര്‍ക്കുകയില്ലെന്നും, മോഷ്ടിക്കുകയില്ലെന്നും,

Say:'I do not find, in what is revealed to me, aught forbidden to him who eats thereof except it be carrion,
പറയുക: എനിക്കു ബോധനമായി ലഭിച്ചവയില്‍, ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നവന് തിന്നാന്‍ പാടില്ലാത്തതായി ഒന്നും ഞാന്‍ കാണുന്നില്ല; ശവവും ഒഴുക്കപ്പെട്ട രക്തവും പന്നിമാംസവും ഒഴികെ. അവയൊക്കെ മ്ളേച്ഛ വസ്തുക്കളാണ്.

Those who are polytheists will say: If Allah had pleased we would not have associated(aught with Him) nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden(to ourselves) anything; even so did those before them reject until they tasted Our punishment. Say: Have you any
ആ ബഹുദൈവ വാദികള്‍ പറയും:" അല്ലാഹു ഇച്ഛിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ ഞങ്ങളോ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പൂര്‍വപിതാക്കളോ ബഹുദൈവവിശ്വാസികളാകുമായിരുന്നില്ല. ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഒന്നും നിഷിദ്ധമാക്കുമായിരുന്നുമില്ല.” അപ്രകാരം തന്നെ അവര്‍ക്ക് മുമ്പുള്ളവരും നമ്മുടെ ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കുവോളം സത്യത്തെ തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു. പറയുക:" നിങ്ങളുടെ വശം ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിത്തരാവുന്ന വല്ല വിവരവുമുണ്ടോ?

Say thou: if I have fabricated it, then ye cannot avail me against Allah in aught.
പറയുക: ഞാനിത് സ്വയം ചമച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിയതാണെങ്കില്‍ അല്ലാഹുവില്‍ നിന്നെന്നെ കാക്കാന്‍ ആര്‍ക്കും കഴിയില്ല.

And when he knoweth aught of Our revelations he maketh it a jest. For such there is a shameful doom.
നമ്മുടെ തെളിവുകളില്‍ നിന്ന് വല്ലതും അവന്‍ അറിഞ്ഞാലോ അവനത് ഒരു പരിഹാസവിഷയമാക്കിക്കളയുകയും ചെയ്യും. അത്തരക്കാര്‍ക്കാകുന്നു അപമാനകരമായ ശിക്ഷ.

And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah,
പ്രതാപശാലിയും സ്തുത്യര്‍ഹനുമായ അല്ലാഹുവില്‍ അവര്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നത് മാത്രമായിരുന്നു അവരുടെ( സത്യവിശ്വാസികളുടെ)

And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah,
അവര്‍ക്ക് വിശ്വാസികളുടെ മേല്‍ ഒരു കുറ്റവും ആരോപിക്കാനുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; സ്തുത്യര്‍ഹനും അജയ്യനുമായ

Verily Allah wrongeth not mankind in aught but mankind wrong themselves.
തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു മനുഷ്യരോട് ഒട്ടും അനീതി കാണിക്കുന്നില്ല. എങ്കിലും മനുഷ്യര്‍ അവരവരോട് തന്നെ അനീതി കാണിക്കുന്നു.

Never said I to them aught except what Thou didst command me.
നീ എന്നോടാജ്ഞാപിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതല്ലാതൊന്നും ഞാന്‍ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല.

Taste therefore. We shall not increase you in aught but torment.
അതിനാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അനുഭവിച്ചുകൊള്ളുക. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ശിക്ഷയല്ലാതൊന്നും വര്‍ധിപ്പിച്ചു തരാനില്ല.
