Examples of using Allah in English and their translations into Urdu

Will they not contemplate upon the Koran? If it had been from other than Allah, they would surely have found in it many contradictions.
کیا یہ لوگ قرآن میں غور نہیں کرتے؟ اگر یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا کسی اور کی طرف سے ہوتا تو یقیناً اس میں بہت کچھ اختلاف پاتے

Do they worship, other than Allah, that which has no power to provide them with anything either from the heavens
اور وه اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا ان کی عبادت کرتے ہیں جو آسمانوں

With justice Allah will judge, but those upon whom they call, other than Him,
اور اللہ حق کے ساتھ فیصلہ کرے گا

know that you cannot thwart Allah, and that Allah shall disgrace the faithless.”(9:2).
جان لو کہ تم اﷲ کو عاجز نہیں کرسکتے اور یہ کہ اﷲ منکروں کو رسوا کرنے والا ہے۔(2

Allah has prepared for them Gardens underneath which canals flow wherein they will abide for ever: this is the great success.
اور اللہ نے ان کے لئے ایسے باغ مہیا کر رکھے ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی جن میں وہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے(۱) یہ بڑی کامیابی ہے

They rejoice in the Grace and bounty of Allah, and with the fact that Allah would not let the reward of believers be lost.
وہ خوش ہوتے ہیں اللہ کی نعمت اور فضل سے اور اس سے بھی کہ اللہ تعالٰی ایمان والوں کے اجر کو برباد نہیں کرتا

as thou sayest(will happen) against us; or thou bring Allah and the angels before(us) face to face;
آسمان کے چند ٹکڑے گرا دیں یا آپ اﷲ کو اور فرشتوں کو ہمارے سامنے لے آئیںo

my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the'Alamin(mankind, jinns and all that exists).
میرا مرنا سب خدائے رب العالمین ہی کے لیے ہے

They feel pleased with blessing from Allāh, and grace, and with the fact that Allah would not let the reward of the believers be lost.”.
وہ خوش ہوتے ہیں اللہ کی نعمت اور فضل سے اور اس سے بھی کہ اللہ تعالٰی ایمان والوں کے اجر کو برباد نہیں کرتا

they have been wronged. Verily Allah has the power to help them.
وہ مظلوم ہیں، اور اللہ یقیناً ان کی مدد پر قادر ہے

But they shall never wish for death because of the(evil) deeds they have committed. Allah is well aware of these evil-doers.
لیکن یہ ہرگز اس کی تمنا نہ کریں گے اپنے کرتوتوں کی وجہ سے جو یہ کر چکے ہیں، اور اللہ اِن ظالموں کو خوب جانتا ہے

But they shall never wish for death because of the(evil) deeds they have committed. Allah is well aware of these evil-doers.
اور وہ ہرگز اس کی تمنا نہیں کریں گے اپنے ان(برے) اعمال کی وجہ سے جو وہ آگے بھیج چکے ہیں اور اللہ ظالموں کو اچھی طرح جانتا ہے

He selects for His Mercy(Islam and the Quran with Prophet hood) whom He wills and Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty.
وہ اپنی رحمت کے ساتھ جسے چاہے مخصوص کر لے اور اللہ تعالٰی بڑے فضل والا ہے

are all for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
میرا مرنا سب خدائے رب العالمین ہی کے لیے ہے

O you who believe! when you meet a party, then be firm, and remember Allah much, that you may be successful.
اے ایمان والو، جب کسی گروہ سے تمھارا مقابلہ ہو تو تم ثابت قدم رہو اور اﷲ کو بہت یاد کرو تاکہ تم کامیاب ہو۔(45

Or you make the heaven fall upon us in fragments as you have claimed or you bring Allah and the angels before[us].
یا جیسا کہ آپ کا خیال ہے ہم پر(ابھی) آسمان کے چند ٹکڑے گرا دیں یا آپ اﷲ کو اور فرشتوں کو ہمارے سامنے لے آئیں

This, because ye used to take the Signs of Allah in jest, and the life of the world deceived you:"(From) that Day, therefore, they shall not be taken out thence, nor shall they be received into Grace.
یہ اس وجہ سے(ہے) کہ تم نے اللہ کی آیتوں کو مذاق بنا رکھا تھا اور دنیوی زندگی نے تمہیں دھوکہ میں ڈال دیا تھا، سو آج نہ تو وہ اُس(دوزخ) سے نکالے جائیں گے اور نہ اُن سے توبہ کے ذریعے(اللہ کی) رضاجوئی قبول کی جائے گی

We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they set up with Allah that for which He has sent down no authority, and their abode is the fire, and evil is the abode of the unjust.
ہم عنقریب کافروں کے دلوں میں تمہارا رعب بٹھا دیں گے کیونکہ یہ خدا کے ساتھ شرک کرتے ہیں جس کی اس نے کوئی بھی دلیل نازل نہیں کی اور ان کا ٹھکانہ دوزخ ہے وہ ظالموں کا بہت بُرا ٹھکانا ہے

And if Allah were to lay hold of mankind for their wrong- doing,
اور اگر اللہ لوگوں کو ان کے ظلم پر گرفت کرتا

What! is he whose heart Allah has opened for Islam so that he is in a light from his Lord(like the hard-hearted)? Nay, woe to those whose hearts are hard against the remembrance of Allah; those are in clear error.
بھلا جس کا سینہ الله نے دین اسلام کے لئے کھول دیا ہے سو وہ اپنے رب کی طرف سے روشنی میں ہےسوجن لوگوں کے دل الله کے ذکر سے متاثر نہیں ہوتے ان کے لیے بڑی خرابی ہے یہ لوگ کھلی گمراہی میں ہیں
