Aid or countenance to those only who can present themselves with pure hands and who are free from suspicion.
ذی حیثیت یا باوقار لوگوں کو جو منہ سے مانگتے نہیں مگر ضرورت مند ہیں، مدد کرنا

Verily I have set my countenance towards Him who hath created the heavens and the earth,
سب سے یک سو ہو کر میں نے اپنے منہ کو اسی کی طرف متوجہ کیا جس نے آسمان

Verily I have set my countenance towards Him who hath created the heavens
میں نے سب سے یکسو ہو کر اپنے تئیں اسی ذات کی طرف متوجہ کیا جس نے آسمانوں

And said to them, I see your father' countenance, that it is not toward me as before; but the God of my father has been with me.
اور اُن سے کہا مَیں دیکھتا ہوں کہ تمہارے باپ کا رُخ پہلے سے بدلا ہُوا ہے پر میرے باپ کا خُدا میرے ساتھ رہا

We feed you seeking Allah's Countenance only. We wish for no reward,
ہم صرف اللہ کی مرضی کی خاطر تمہیں کھلاتے ہیں

(Saying):"We feed you seeking Allah's Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you.
(اور اُن سے کہتے ہیں کہ) ہم تمہیں صرف اللہ کی خاطر کھلا رہے ہیں، ہم تم سے نہ کوئی بدلہ چاہتے ہیں نہ شکریہ

And said to them, I see your father's countenance, that it is not toward me as previously; but the God of my father has been with me.
اور اُن سے کہا مَیں دیکھتا ہوں کہ تمہارے باپ کا رُخ پہلے سے بدلا ہُوا ہے پر میرے باپ کا خُدا میرے ساتھ رہا

Allah said,“And keep yourself patient by being with those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, seeking His countenance.
اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا: اور اپنے نفس کو ان لوگوں کے ساتھ باندھ رکھیے جو صبح شام اپنے رب کو پکارتے ہیں، اس کی رضامندی کے ارادے سے اور آپ کی آنکھیں ان سے تجاوز نہ کریں۔الکھف

And when there is announced unto any of them a female his countenance remainoth darkened the whole day
اور جب ان میں سے کسی کی بیٹی کی خوشخبری دی جائے اس کا منہ سیاہ ہو جاتا ہے

And unto Allah belongeth the east and the west; so withersoever you turn there is the countenance of Allah: verily Allah is pervading, Knowing.
اور مشرق اور مغرب کا مالک اللہ ہی ہے۔ تم جدھر بھی منھ کرو ادھر ہی اللہ کا منھ ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ کشادگی اور وسعت واﻻ اور بڑے علم واﻻ ہے

Let them who consumed it with fire and cut it down, perish at the threat of thy countenance.
کرتا ہے جو اس کے ذریعے جہنم سے نجات چاہے اسے نجات عطا فرماتا ہے جو اس کے ذریعے تیری توجہ کا طالب ہو اس پر توجہ کرتا

Unto Allah belong the East and the West, and whithersoever ye turn, there is Allah's Countenance. Lo! Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing.
اور مشرق و مغرب(پورب و پچھم) سب اللہ کے ہی ہیں سو تم جدھر بھی رخ کرو ادھر ہی اللہ کی ذات موجود ہے یقینا اللہ بڑی وسعت والا، بڑا علم والا ہے

You made the ways of life known to me, you will make me full of gladness with your countenance.
تو نے مجھے زندگی کی راہیں بتائیں۔ تو مجھے اپنے دیدار کے باعث خوشی سے بھر دے گا

And whosoever submitteth his countenance unto Allah and he is a well doer,
اور جس نے نیک ہو کر اپنا منہ الله کے سامنے جھکا دیا

even more(i.e. having the honour of glancing at the Countenance of Allah) Neither darkness nor dust nor any humiliating disgrace shall cover their faces. They are the dwellers of Paradise, they will abide therein forever.
لئے بھلائی ہے اور زیادتی بھی اور ان کے منہ پر سیاہی اور رسوائی نہیں چڑھے گی وہ بہشتی ہیں وہ اسی میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے

And those who remain patient, seeking their Lord's Countenance, perform As-Salat(Iqamat-as-Salat), and spend out of
اور وہ جنہوں نے صبر کیا اپنے رب کی رضا چاہنے کو اور نماز قائم رکھی

And those who persevere seeking the countenance of their Lord and establish prayer,
اور جنہوں نے مرضی خدا حاصل کرنے کے لئے صبر کیا ہے

Whoever learns knowledge by which the Countenance of Allah should be sought, yet learns it only to attain some worldly provision, will not find the fragrance of Heaven on the Day of Resurrection.”.
جس نے ایسا علم سیکھا جس کے ذریعے اللہ کی رضا تلاش کی جاتی ہے، اس نے اسے صر ف دنیوی مفادات کے لیے سیکھا تو وہ روز ِ قیامت جنت کی خوشبو تک نہیں پائے گا۔“(ابوداؤد: 3664-ابن ماجہ:252

And when there is announced Unto any of them the birth of that which he likeneth Unto the Compassionate, his countenance remaineth darkened the whole day and he is wroth inwardly.".
حالانکہ جب ان میں سے کسی کو اس چیز کی خوشخبری دی جاتی ہے جو انہوں نے خدا کے لئے بیان کی ہے تو اس کا منہ سیاہ ہوجاتا اور وہ غم سے بھر جاتا ہے
