David can laugh because God will destroy the one who boasts in his mischief.
اﷲ ہنسی کرتا ہے ان سے، اور بڑھاتا ہے ان کو ان کی شرارت میں بہکے ہوئے

do not diminish the goods of the people, and do not mischief in the land.
لوگوں کو ان کی چیزیں کم نہ دیا کرو اور زمین میں خرابی کرتے نہ پھرو

And give not the things of the people decreasing, and wander not in the earth spreading mischief.
لوگوں کو ان کی چیزیں کمی سے نہ دو بے باکی کے ساتھ زمین میں فساد مچاتے نہ پھرو۔(183

(As for) those who disbelieve and turn away from Allah's way, We will add chastisement to their chastisement because they made mischief.
جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا اور(لوگوں کو) خدا کے رستے سے روکا ہم اُن کو عذاب پر عذاب دیں گے۔ اس لیے کہ شرارت کیا کرتے تھے

do not act corruptly in the land, making mischief.
لوگوں کو ان کی چیزیں کم نہ دیا کرو اور زمین میں خرابی کرتے نہ پھرو

They said:"By Allah! Indeed you know that we came not to make mischief in the land, and we are no thieves!".
انہوں نے کہا الله کی قسم تمہیں معلوم ہے ہم اس ملک میں شرارت کرنے کے لیے نہیں آئے اور نہ ہم کبھی چور تھے

that indeed you would do mischief on the earth twice and you will become tyrants and extremely arrogant!
تم ضرور ملک میں دو مرتبہ خرابی کرو گے اوربڑی سرکشی کرو گے!

barred others from the way of Allah, We shall add further chastisement to their chastisement for all the mischief they did.
خدا کے رستے سے روکا ہم اُن کو عذاب پر عذاب دیں گے۔ اس لیے کہ شرارت کیا کرتے تھے

that are due to the people, and do not commit mischief in the land.
لوگوں کو ان کی چیزیں کم نہ دیا کرو اور زمین میں خرابی کرتے نہ پھرو

You went against my orders and went into the tunnels and did the mischief of defeat.
تم نے میرے حکم کے خلاف جا کر سرنگوں میں جا کر شکست کی شرارت کی

if you were given the authority, do mischief in the land, and sever your ties of kinship?
تم حاکم ہو جاؤ تو ملک میں خرابی کرنے لگو اور اپنے رشتوں کو توڑ ڈالو?

And fight them until no mischief remains, and only Allah is worshipped; then if they desist, do not harm them, except the unjust.
ان سے لڑو جب تک کہ فتنہ نہ مٹ جائے اور اللہ تعالیٰ کا دین غالب نہ آجائے، اگر یہ رک جائیں(تو تم بھی رک جاؤ) زیادتی تو صرف ﻇالموں پر ہی ہے

And fight them until no mischief remains, and only Allah is worshipped;
اور ان سے لڑو یہاں تک کہ کوئی فتنہ نہ رہے اور ایک اللہ کی پوجا ہو پھر

Shall We treat those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, the same as those who do mischief on earth? Shall We treat those who guard against evil.
کیا ہم ایمان لانے والے اور نیک عمل کرنے والوں کو زمین میں فساد برپا کرنے والوں جیسا قرار دیدیں یا صاحبانِ تقویٰ کو فاسق و فاجر افراد جیسا قراردیدیں

Seek not mischief in the land, for Allah loves not those who do mischief.”Surat Al-Qasas.
اور زمین میں فساد پھیلانے کی کوشش نہ کر، کیونکہ اللہ ان لوگوں سے محبت نہیں کرتا جو فساد پھیلانے والے ہوں۔‘

And when it is said unto them: Make not mischief in the earth, they say they are Peacemakers only.-Al'Qur'an; 002.
جب ان لوگوں سے کہا جاتا تھا کہ زمین پر فساد برپا مت کرو تو وہ کہتے تھے کہ وہ تواصلاح کرنے والے ہیں، ایسے لوگوں

And do not do mischief on the earth, after it has been set in order,
اور زمین میں اس کی اصلاح کے بعد فساد برپا نہ کرو۔ اور خدا سے خوف اور امید کے ساتھ

Then they will be able to play no mischief but will say(falsely):'By Allah,
تو وہ اِس کے سوا کوئی فتنہ نہ اٹھا سکیں گے کہ(یہ جھوٹا بیان دیں

Seek not mischief in the land, for Allah loves not those who do mischief(Quran 28:77).
اور زمین میں فساد پھیلانے کی کوشش نہ کر، کیونکہ اللہ ان لوگوں سے محبت نہیں کرتا جو فساد پھیلانے والے ہوں۔‘
