دیہاتی لوگ کفر اور نفاق میں بہت ہی سخت ہیں اور ان کو ایسا ہونا ہی چاہئےSo He hath put as a consequence hypocrisy into their hearts,(to last) till the Day, whereon they shall meet Him:
تو خدا نے اس کا انجام یہ کیا کہ اس روز تک کے لیے جس میں وہ خدا کے روبرو حاضر ہوں گے ان کے دلوں میں نفاق ڈال دیا اس لیےSo as a consequence He put hypocrisy into their hearts, until the day they meet Him, for that they failed God in that they promised Him
تو خدا نے اس کا انجام یہ کیا کہ اس روز تک کے لیے جس میں وہ خدا کے روبرو حاضر ہوں گے ان کے دلوں میں نفاق ڈال دیا اس لیےSo He punished them by putting hypocrisy into their hearts till the Day whereon they shall meet Him, because they broke that(covenant with Allah)
تو خدا نے اس کا انجام یہ کیا کہ اس روز تک کے لیے جس میں وہ خدا کے روبرو حاضر ہوں گے ان کے دلوں میں نفاق ڈال دیا اس لیےIs there a disease(of hypocrisy) in their hearts? Or do they doubt(the majesty and glory of the Messenger)? Or do they fear that Allah and His Messenger(blessings and peace be upon him) will do them wrong?(Nay,)
کیا ان کے دلوں میں(منافقت کی) بیماری ہے یا وہ(شانِ رسالت صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم میں)the people of Al-Madinah, they exaggerate and persist in hypocrisy, you(O Muhammad SAW)
جو نفاق پر اڑ گئے ہیں(اس میں مشاق ہوگئے ہیں)(اے رسول(ص))(He does this) in order that He may make the evil caused by Satan a trial for those in whose hearts there is sickness(of hypocrisy), whose hearts are hard(and vitiated). Surely these wrong-doers have gone too far in their dissension.
(یہ اس لئے ہوتا ہے) تاکہ اﷲ ان(باطل خیالات اور فاسد شبہات) کو جو شیطان(لوگوں کے ذہنوں میں) ڈالتا ہے ایسے لوگوں کے لئے آزمائش بنا دے جن کے دلوں میں(منافقت کی) بیماری ہے اور جن لوگوں کے دل(کفر و عناد کے باعث) سخت ہیں، اور بیشک ظالم لوگ بڑی شدید مخالفت میں مبتلا ہیںIndeed you see those afflicted with the disease of hypocrisy race towards them, saying:'We fear lest some misfortune overtakes us. And it may happen that Allah will either bring you a decisive victory or bring about something else from Himself? and then they will feel remorseful at their hypocrisy which they have kept concealed in their breasts-.
اب تم انہیں دیکھو گے جن کے دلوں میں آزار ہے کہ یہود و نصاریٰ کی طرف دوڑتے ہیں کہتے ہیں ہم ڈرتے ہیں کہ ہم پر کوئی گردش آجائے تو نزدیک ہے کہ اللہ فتح لائے یا اپنی طرف سے کوئی حکم پھر اس پر جو اپنے دلوں میں چھپایا تھا پچھتائے رہ جائیںfrom among the people of Medina(also); they are stubborn in hypocrisy; you do not know them;

پیغمبر آپ دیکھیں گے کہ جن کے دلوں میں نفاق کی بیماری ہے وہ دوڑ دوڑ کر ان کی طرف جارہے ہیںSome of the desert Arabs around you are hypocrites as are some of the people of Madinah-- they are obdurate in their hypocrisy. You do not know them,
اور جو تمہارے اردگرد صحرائی عرب بستے ہیں ان میں کچھ منافق ہیں۔ اور خود مدینہ کے باشندوں میں بھی(منافق موجود ہیں) جو نفاق پر اڑ گئے ہیں(اس میں مشاق ہوگئے ہیں)(اے رسول(ص)) آپ انہیں نہیں جانتے لیکن ہم جانتے ہیں۔ ہم ان کو(دنیا میں) دوہری سزا دیں گے۔(These) nomad villagers are unyielding disbelievers and incorrigible hypocrites. And(due to their stubbornness in disbelief and hypocrisy) they deserve to remain ignorant of those limits
(یہ) دیہاتی لوگ سخت کافر اور سخت منافق ہیں اور(اپنے کفر و نفاق کی شدت کے باعث)So He made hypocrisy in their hearts a consequence(of their own niggardliness)

تم دیکھتے ہو کہ جن کے دلوں میں نفاق کی بیماری ہے وہ اُنہی میں دوڑ دھوپ کرتے پھرتے ہیں کہتے ہیں"ہمیں ڈر لگتا ہے کہ کہیں ہم کسی مصیبت کے چکر میں نہ پھنس جائیں" مگر بعید نہیں کہ اللہ جب تمہیں فیصلہ کن فتح بخشے گا یا اپنی طرف سے کوئی اور بات ظاہر کرے گا تو یہ لوگ اپنے اِس نفاق پر جسے یہ دلوں میں چھپائے ہوئے ہیں نادم ہوں گےand some of the people of Medinah; hypocrisy has become ingrained in them;
خود مدینہ کے باشندوں میں بھی(منافق موجود ہیں) جو نفاق پر اڑ گئے ہیں(اس میں مشاق ہوگئے ہیں)(اے رسول(ص))the inhabitants of Medina. They are persisting in their hypocrisies. You do not know them
