Examples of using Oaths in English and their translations into Urdu

And do not use your oaths to deceive one another, so that a foot may not slip after being firm, and you taste misery because you hindered from God's path,
اور تم اپنی قَسموں کو آپس میں فریب کاری کا ذریعہ نہ بنایا کرو ورنہ قدم(اسلام پر)

Do not make your oaths a means of deceiving one another or else your foot may slip after having been firm, and you may suffer
اور تم اپنی قَسموں کو آپس میں فریب کاری کا ذریعہ نہ بنایا کرو ورنہ قدم(اسلام پر)

اور اگر یہ لوگ اپنے عہد و پیمان کے بعد اپنی قَسموں کو توڑ دیں اور تمہارے دین پر طعن و تشنیع کریں تو تم کفر کے ان سرغنوں سے جنگ کرو، ان کی قَسموں کا کوئی اعتبار نہیں تاکہ یہ باز آجائیں

اور تم اپنی قَسموں کو آپس میں فریب کاری کا ذریعہ نہ بنایا کرو ورنہ قدم(اسلام پر)

So do not make your oaths a means of deceiving one another, lest your foot should slip after having found its hold, and you taste of evil for having hindered(others)
اور تم اپنی قَسموں کو آپس میں فریب کاری کا ذریعہ نہ بنایا کرو ورنہ قدم(اسلام پر)

They have chosen their oaths as a shield for them to obstruct others from the way of God. How terrible is what they do!
انہوں نے اپنی قَسموں کو ڈھال بنا رکھا ہے پس اس طرح وہ خود اللہ کی راہ سے رکتے ہیں اور دوسروں کو روکتے ہیں بیشک بہت برا ہے وہ کام جو یہ کر رہے ہیں۔!

Do not use your oaths to deceive each other lest any foot should slip after being firmly placed and lest you should taste the penalty
اور تم اپنی قَسموں کو آپس میں فریب کاری کا ذریعہ نہ بنایا کرو ورنہ قدم(اسلام پر)

They swear their strongest oaths by Allah that, if only thou wouldst command them, they would leave(their homes). Say:"Swear ye not; Obedience is(more) reasonable;
اور(یہ) خدا کی سخت سخت قسمیں کھاتے ہیں کہ اگر تم ان کو حکم دو تو(سب گھروں سے)

And do not make your oaths phoney excuses between yourselves,
اور اپنی قسمیں آپس میں بے اصل بہانہ نہ بنالو

But if they violate their oaths after their covenant, and taunt you for your Faith,- fight ye the chiefs of Unfaith: for their oaths are nothing to them: that thus they may be restrained.
اور اگر یہ لوگ اپنے عہد و پیمان کے بعد اپنی قَسموں کو توڑ دیں اور تمہارے دین پر طعن و تشنیع کریں تو تم کفر کے ان سرغنوں سے جنگ کرو، ان کی قَسموں کا کوئی اعتبار نہیں تاکہ یہ باز آجائیں

But if they violate their oaths after their covenant, and taunt you for your Faith,- fight ye the chiefs of Unfaith: for their oaths are nothing to them: that thus they may be restrained.
اور اگر وہ اپنے عہد کے بعد اپنی قََسمیں توڑ دیں اور تمہارے دین میں طعنہ زنی کریں تو تم(ان) کفر کے سرغنوں سے جنگ کرو بیشک ان کی قَسموں کا کوئی اعتبار نہیں تاکہ وہ(اپنی فتنہ پروری سے) باز آجائیں

They have sworn by God the most earnest oaths that if a warner came to them,
اور یہ خدا کی سخت سخت قسمیں کھاتے ہیں

Allah does not call you to account for what is vain in your oaths, but He will call you to account for what your hearts have earned, and Allah is Forgiving, Forbearing.
الله تمہیں تمہاری قسموں میں بے ہودہ گوئی پر نہیں پکڑتا لیکن تم سے ان قسموں پر مواخذہ کرتا ہے جن کا تمہارے دلوں نے ارادہ کیا ہو اور الله بڑا بحشنے والا بردبار ہے

Have sworn by God the most earnest oaths God will never raise up him who dies; nay, it is a promise binding upon Him, but most men know not.
وه لوگ بڑی سخت سخت قسمیں کھا کھا کر کہتے ہیں کہ مردوں کو اللہ تعالیٰ زنده نہیں کرے گا۔ کیوں نہیں ضرور زنده کرے گا یہ تو اس کا برحق ﻻزمی وعده ہے، لیکن اکثر لوگ جانتے نہیں

But if they break their oaths after their covenant and thrust at your religion, then fight the leaders of unbelief; they have no sacred oaths; haply they will give over.
اور اگر یہ لوگ اپنے عہد و پیمان کے بعد اپنی قَسموں کو توڑ دیں اور تمہارے دین پر طعن و تشنیع کریں تو تم کفر کے ان سرغنوں سے جنگ کرو، ان کی قَسموں کا کوئی اعتبار نہیں تاکہ یہ باز آجائیں

اور یہ لوگ بڑی شدّ و مد سے اللہ کی قَسمیں کھاتے ہیں کہ جو مَر جائے اللہ اسے(دوبارہ) نہیں اٹھائے گا، کیوں نہیں اس کے ذمۂ کرم پر سچا وعدہ ہے لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتے

And if they violate their oaths after their covenant and revile your religion, fight those leaders of infidelity-verily no oaths will hold in their case that haply they may desist.
اور اگر وہ اپنے عہد کے بعد اپنی قََسمیں توڑ دیں اور تمہارے دین میں طعنہ زنی کریں تو تم(ان) کفر کے سرغنوں سے جنگ کرو بیشک ان کی قَسموں کا کوئی اعتبار نہیں تاکہ وہ(اپنی فتنہ پروری سے) باز آجائیں

Allah will not call you to account for that which is unintentional in your oaths, but He will call you to account for that which your hearts have earned. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Forbearing.
الله تمہیں تمہاری قسموں میں بے ہودہ گوئی پر نہیں پکڑتا لیکن تم سے ان قسموں پر مواخذہ کرتا ہے جن کا تمہارے دلوں نے ارادہ کیا ہو اور الله بڑا بحشنے والا بردبار ہے
