Our Lord! vouchsafe unto us that which Thou hast promised us by Thine apostles, and humiliate us not on the Day of Resurrection.
எங்கள் இறைவனே! இன்னும் உன் தூதர்கள் மூலமாக எங்களுக்கு நீ வாக்களித்தை எங்களுக்குத் தந்தருள்வாயாக!

When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses,
நீ உன் சத்துருக்களுக்கு எதிராக யுத்தஞ்செய்யப் புறப்பட்டுப் போகையில்,

And recall what time thine Lord said unto the angels: verily I am going to place a vicegerent On the earth. They said: wilt Thou place therein one who will act corruptly therein and shed blood While we hallow Thine praise and glorify Thee!
( நபியே) இன்னும், உம் இறைவன் வானவர்களை நோக்கி" நிச்சயமாக நான் பூமியில் ஒரு பிரதிநிதியை அமைக்கப் போகிறேன்" என்று கூறியபோது, அவர்கள்"( இறைவா!) நீ அதில் குழப்பத்தை உண்டாக்கி, இரத்தம் சிந்துவோரையா அமைக்கப்போகிறாய்? இன்னும் நாங்களோ உன் புகழ் ஓதியவர்கள் ஆக உன்னைத் துதித்து, உன் பரிசுத்ததைப் போற்றியவர்கள் ஆக இருக்கின்றோம்;

உமது கையில் என் உயிரை ஒப்படைகின்றேன்;

உன் கண்கள் மட்டும் எனக்கு குடிக்க- கிளாரினெட் குவார்டெட்.

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart.
இன்று நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுகிற இந்த வார்த்தைகளை உன் இருதயத்தில் இருக்கக்கடவது.
