Till in death thy life is found;
موت تو زندگی میں رکھی ہے

And the heavens are the work of thy hands.
اور آسمان تیرے ہاتھ کی کاریگری ہیں

All thy soul, that thou mayst live.
روح تو سب کی ہے زندہ ان کا

Thy Lord is not heedless of the things you do.
اور تیرا رب بے خبر نہیں جو کام کرتے ہو

Thy heart(or, breast) is to thee.
دل تو خواہ مخواہ ہی کمینہ ہے

Thy Lord is not unmindful of anything that they do.".
اور تیرا رب بے خبر نہیں ان کے کام سے

Them among thy women to see if they be pleased with them.
آپ اپنی بیوی میں یہ والی عادات دیکھیں تو سمجھ جائیں

Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, neither is he displeased.
نہ تو تیرے رب نے تجھے چھوڑا ہے اور نہ وه بیزار ہو گیا ہے(3

Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee
نہ تو تیرے رب نے تجھے چھوڑا ہے اور نہ وه بیزار

For in thy sight shall no man living be justified comp.
کونین میں تم سا کوئی انسان نہیں دیکھا

And the heavens are the works of Thy hands.
اور آسمان تیرے ہاتھ کی کاریگری ہیں

And put thy trust in Allah, for Allah is sufficient as Trustee.
اور آپ اپنے پروردگار پر توکل کریں بے شک اللہ تعالیٰ کارسازی کیلئے کافی ہے

If of thy mortal goods thou are bereft.
اگر تو موت سے مہلت بھی مانگے

But I will recompense thy ways upon thee,
میں نے تو بس بدلہ پورا کیا ہے

Thy Lord has not forsaken thee nor is He displeased.
نہ تو تیرے رب نے تجھے چھوڑا ہے اور نہ وه بیزار ہو گیا ہے(3

That being bettered by Thy chastening.
جس نے تیرے لئے سہے ہیں عذاب

Thy forgiveness, our Lord! and unto Thee is the journey's end.”.
اے ہمارے رب تو بخشنے والا ہے اور تیری ہی طر ف باز گشت ہے

Thou didst lead thy people like sheep by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
تو نے موسیٰ اور ہاروؔن کے وسیلہ سے گلہّ کی طرح اپنے لوگوں کی رہنمائی کی

For in thy waters leaps the dappled trout.
اور تیرے پانیوں میں کنول تیرتے ہیں

Thy victory is won.
جیت تو جیت ہوتی ہے
