اور جن لوگوں کے دلوں میں بیماری ہے تو اس(سورت) نے ان کی خباثتِ(کفر و نفاق) پر مزید پلیدی(اور خباثت) بڑھا دی اور وہ اس حالت میں مرے کہ کافر ہی تھے

بھلا وہ شخص جس کا سینہ اللہ نے اسلام کے لیے کھول دیا

What! is he whose heart Allah has opened for Islam
کیا وہ شخص جس کے دل کو خدا نے اسلام کے لئے کشادہ کردیا ہے

What! is he whose heart Allah has opened for Islam so that he is in a light from his Lord(like the hard-hearted)? Nay, woe to those whose hearts are hard
کیا وه شخص جس کا سینہ اللہ تعالیٰ نےاسلام کے لئے کھول دیا ہے پس وه اپنے پروردگار کی طرف سے ایک نور پر ہے

Is he then whose heart Allah has opened for Islam,
بھلا وہ شخص جس کا سینہ اللہ نے اسلام کے لیے کھول دیا ہواور وہ اپنے رب

And you see those in whose heart is a disease race toward them, saying: We fear lest a change of fortune befalls us.
آپ دیکھیں گے کہ جن کے دلوں میں بیماری ہے(١) وہ دوڑ دوڑ کر ان میں گھس رہے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ ہمیں خطرہ ہے، ایسا نہ ہو کہ کوئی حادثہ ہم پر پڑ جائے(٢

You are not like any other women. If you keep you have Taqwa, then be not soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire, but speak in an honorable manner.
تم کسی بھی دوسری عورت کی طرح نہیں ہو، اگر تم خدا سے ڈرتی ہو تو نرم لہجے میں بات مت کرو ورنہ وہ شخص جس کے دل میں بیماری ہے لالچ کریگا‘ مگر معقول بات کرو

I have never known anyone whose heart is open all the time.
میں نے کبھی نہیں جانا کسی شخص جس کے دل میں ہر وقت کھلا ہوا ہے

do not follow him whose heart We have made oblivious to Our remembrance,
اس کا کہا نہ مانو جس کا دل ہم نے اپنی یاد سے غافل کردیا

And thou seest those in whose heart is a disease race toward them, saying: We fear lest a change of fortune befall us. And it may happen
پھر تو ان لوگوں کو دیکھے گا جن کے دلوں میں بیماری ہے ان میں دوڑ کر جا ملتے ہیں کہتے ہیں

And thou seest those in whose heart is a disease race toward them, saying: We fear lest a change of fortune befall us. And it may happen that Allah will vouchsafe(unto thee) the victory, or a commandment from His presence. Then will they repent them of their secret thoughts.
آپ دیکھیں گے کہ جن کے دلوں میں بیماریہے وه دوڑ دوڑ کر ان میں گھس رہے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ ہمیں خطره ہے، ایسا نہ ہو کہ کوئی حادﺛہ ہم پر پڑ جائے بہت ممکن ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ فتح دے دے۔ یا اپنے پاس سے کوئی اور چیز ﻻئے پھر تو یہ اپنے دلوں میں چھپائی ہوئی باتوں پر(بے طرح) نادم ہونے لگیں گے

so that he walks upon a light from his Lord(as those whose heart is sealed)? But woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the Remembrance of Allah!
وہ اپنے پروردگار کی طرف سے نور(ہدایت) پر ہے(قسی القلب لوگوں کی طرح ہو سکتا ہے)

he is upon a light from his Lord[like one whose heart rejects it]? Then woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah.
وہ اپنے پروردگار کی طرف سے نور(ہدایت) پر ہے(قسی القلب لوگوں کی طرح ہو سکتا ہے) بربادی ہے ان
