And as he spake, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him:

Як же Він промовляв, просив Його Фарисей один, щоб обідав у него;

These words spake Jesus in the treasury,

Такі слова промовив Ісус у скарбницї,

We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is.

Ми знаємо, що Мойсейові глаголав Бог; Сього ж не знаємо, звідкіля Він.

Щоб збулося Ісусове слово, що його Він прорік, зазначаючи, якою то смертю Він має померти.
