They will say: they have failed us: aye! we have not been calling upon aught afore. Thus doth Allah lead the infidels astray.
আল ্ লাহ ব ্ যতীত? তারা বলবে, তারা আমাদের কাছ থেকে উধাও হয়ে গেছে; বরং আমরা তো ইতিপূর ্ বে কোন কিছুর পূজাই করতাম না। এমনি ভাবে আল ্ লাহ কাফেরদেরকে বিভ ্ রান ্ ত করেন।

They say: They have failed us; but we used not to pray to anything before. Thus doth Allah send astray the disbelievers( in His guidance).
তারা বলবে, তারা আমাদের কাছ থেকে উধাও হয়ে গেছে; বরং আমরা তো ইতিপূর ্ বে কোন কিছুর পূজাই করতাম না। এমনি ভাবে আল ্ লাহ কাফেরদেরকে বিভ ্ রান ্ ত করেন।

I have been sent, and a party which does not believe, hold yourselves in patience until Allah doth decide between us: for He is the best to decide.
তখন ধৈর্য ধরো যে পর্যন্ত না আল্লাহ্ আমাদের উভয়ের মধ্যে মীমাংসা করে দেন, আর তিনিই বিচারকর্তাদের মধ্যে শ্রেষ্ঠ।''।

They shall have Layers of Fire above them, and Layers( of Fire) below them: with this doth Allah warn off his servants:" O My Servants! then fear ye Me!".
তাদের জন ্ যে উপর দিক থেকে এবং নীচের দিক থেকে আগুনের মেঘমালা থাকবে। এ শাস ্ তি দ ্ বারা আল ্ লাহ তাঁর বান ্ দাদেরকে সতর ্ ক করেন যে, হে আমার বান ্ দাগণ, আমাকে ভয় কর।

Allah keepeth firm those who believe by the firm Word in the life of the world and in the Hereafter, and Allah sendeth astray the wrong-doers. And Allah doth that which He willeth.
আল ্ লাহ তা' আলা মুমিনদেরকে মজবুত বাক ্ য দ ্ বারা মজবুত করেন। পার ্ থিবজীবনে এবং পরকালে। এবং আল ্ লাহ জালেমদেরকে পথভ ্ রষ ্ ট করেন। আল ্ লাহ যা ইচ ্ ছা।

The Companions of the Fire will call to the Companions of the Garden:" Pour down to us water or anything that Allah doth provide for your sustenance."
আর নরকবাসীরা জান ্ নাতবাসীদের ডেকে বলবে--'' আমাদের উপরে পানি কিছুটা ঢেলে দাও,

Soon will We show them our Signs in the( furthest) regions( of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things?
আমরা অচিরেই তাদের দেখাব আমাদের নিদর ্ শনাবলী দিগদিগন ্ তে এবং তাদের নিজেদের মধ ্ যেও, যে পর ্ যন ্ ত না তাদের কাছে স ্ পষ ্ ট হয়ে যায় যে এটি নিঃসন ্ দেহ ধ ্ রুবসত ্ য। এটি কি যথেষ ্ ট নয় যে তোমার প ্ রভু-- তিনিই তো সব- কিছুর উপরে সাক ্ ষী রয়েছেন?

Nay, but man doth transgress all bounds.
বস ্ তুতঃ মানুষ নিশ ্ চয়ই সীমালংঘন করেই থাকে।

কী জিনিস থেকে তাকে তিনি সৃষ ্ টি করেছেন?

With this doth Allah warn off His servants.
এ দ্বারা আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদেরকে সতর্ক করেন।

God doth wish to lighten your(difficulties).
আল্লাহ তোমাদের বোঝা হালকা করতে চান।

And then doth make it( but) swarthy stubble.
অতঃপর করেছেন তাকে কাল আবর ্ জনা।

And then doth make it( but) swarthy stubble.
তারপর তাকে শুকিয়ে পাঁশুটে বানিয়ে ফেলেন।

Then doth He make His path smooth for him;
তারপর তার জন ্ য পথ সহজ করে দিয়েছেন।

But all my calling doth but add to their repugnance;
কিন ্ তু আমার দাওয়াত তাদের পলায়নকেই বৃদ ্ ধি করেছে।

For once doth God speak, and twice,(He doth not behold it.).
আল্লাহ تعالى এই সূরাহ' য় দুইবার বলতে বলেছেন-“ আর আমি যা উপাসনা করি, তোমরা তার উপাসক নও।

But all my calling doth but add to their repugnance;
কিন্ত আমার ডাক তাদের পালিয়ে যাওয়া ছাড়া আর কিছুই বাড়ায় নি।

Thus doth Allah seal the hearts of those who know not.
এমনিভাবে আল ্ লাহ জ ্ ঞানহীনদের হৃদয় মোহরাঙ ্ কিত করে দেন।
